Coastal Breeze Inn

Pluses: staff friendly, free parking, close proximity to areas of interest and for the most part quiet. Things we wish were better during our stay: not having to go across street for ice because the machine was broken at the motel, the room was ample and more practical furniture would have been welcome. Also, I was traveling with a person who is sensitive to smells and there was a strong odor permeating from the room that even I could smell which was unpleasant.

It was ok. My only issue was we could hear everything. The people next door had their TV on all night at what seemed like full volume I knew exactly what they were watching and could hear everything they were saying on the TV. Anybody walking around outside, closing doors, talking, you hear it. So it’s not very peaceful and quiet, more so if you have people next door.

Bathroom was freshly painted & clean. Although shower stall was a bit tight for most 6’ individual and the amenities were on the floor (shampoo, conditioner & body wash) as it didn’t seem they were done with the mounting. But all in all really nice, clean & very accommodating. Plenty of parking & water pressure was great. They also give a treat and poopie bag for your fur baby as well had our small dog with us. Check in & staff were all very nice & polite. Will definitely recommend staying here and reasonably priced for the area.

I liked the spacious room, but shower room was so tight that you will hit the wall if you bend over..

We stayed in an ADA accessible room for my partner with muscular dystrophy. He is able to walk but gets around slowly and has a somewhat unsteady gait that requires him to use railings and have good contact/grip with the surfaces he’s walking on. For the most part, the room was great! Everything was nice and clean. The room has a k-cup coffee maker (I wish they had stir sticks or something to stir though), fridge, and microwave. On the ADA side of things, my partner noted that the bathroom floors were quite slippery, and noted that there was no bathmat available. He said the bench being available did help. I will say, you won’t go wrong staying here. The boardwalk is literally a short walk down the street/hill. Staff are courteous and helpful. Note: you need to check in by 10PM and call the motel if you will check in later than that (I almost made that mistake). All in all it was an enjoyable stay and I will definitely stay again when I visit in the future!

Walk everywhere. Room could have used some TLC, particularly the bathroom. TV too small the space. Refrigerator got too cold and popped open a soda.

If you need an economical place to sleep, it was a good hotel for me.

The room was a very nice size. They let us choose 1st or 2nd floor. The bed and pillows were comfortable. There was even a lemon tree we could pick a lemon from. There was plenty of parking and it was very walkable to the Harbor. I would stay again.

The room and the limited grounds were clean. Upkeep staff was friendly. What I didn’t care for was that there was no place outdoors to sit and in the room there was space for an armchair or loveseat but none was provided. The only place to sit inside was the bed or some plastic chairs at the small table

Clean and convenient place. Nothing special or extravagant for this price. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We felt safe for one night and walked down to the Morro Rock and saw sea otters!

No extra towels was given on a 3 night stay even after requesting some before the 2nd night, before I was checked out the male housekeeper came in and threw all our stuff we left in the room away even personal pillows, fresh treats from the bakery bought maybe 2 hours before gone as well as all our drinks from the fridge. Office personnel was helpful and refunded our pet fee but I won't be staying here again.
