Thank you, Claudia, for a lovely stay. This is a boutique hotel with a personalized experience. It’s more like being welcomed into someone’s home. The morning birdsong, beautifully maintained garden and ocean air is a perfect combo. I’ll be staying here again!

Such a charming inn. From the moment you walk in, you feel very welcome. The proprietor, Claudia, is just the sweetest; it was a delight visiting with her in between our adventures around town. We stayed in the upstairs Bordeaux room. The room was very nice with a great view of Morro Rock. We were very pleased with the water pressure in the shower and the bed was very comfortable. The location is perfect; it's a very easy walk to the shops and restaurants down on the embarcadero. I would definitely stay here again. Nothing

Small breakfast with yogurt, fruit, and coffee. The scones on the second morning were very tasty. The muffins on the first morning weren't as good as the scones on the second morning.

Very cute. Nice garden. We had a great view of Morro Rock out of our window. Claudia was super nice, and we really loved having her scones in the morning. This is a bed and breakfast in the truest sense. We’re sort of new to that experience, but we would return. It was lovely.

The location was great and our host Claudia was so nice. At first I felt a bit overwhelming. Lots of things in the living room, but it was like a treasure trove of things to see.

Claudia was an amazing host and so helpful.

Dan and his wife were super kind and accommodating when we had to check in late. The morning basket of goodies was very sweet. The room was extremely clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable and the linens were nice. The big, colorful towels in the bathroom were super! It was nice having morning coffee on the patio next to our room. We had the rose room. It's quite busy and noisy with cars zooming by. I suggest ear plugs. You can also hear people upstairs and outside the room, which takes some getting used to. I would have liked to have a mini fridge, but we made due. The room didn't have an iron, but I'm sure if we asked, we could borrow one.

Can't wait to go back

Quaint small hotel in a great location. Room was a good size with a couple of arm chairs in so had it rained we would have been comfortable staying in the room. The bed was awful and you felt like you had to cling on to the side or you would roll into the middle. A shame as the room was lovely otherwise. Anyone with OCD or dust allergies might want to avoid as the reception room has more clutter than a car boot sale including Christmas and Easter decorations at the same time! Owner didn't require if we enjoyed our stay or look for any feedback during or after our stay.

. coffee in the room.

The room was cozy, pretty and comfortable. Loved having a basket of continental breakfast items. The gardens were well maintained and I loved being able to walk to the Embarcadero to shop or eat. Also, being able to walk to the Rock was nice too. Hmmmm, a small trashcan in the room would be nice. There is only one in the bathroom.

Great location. Very comfortable.

Very comfortable, homely property. Quirky decor the likes of which people try to imitate but this felt wholly authentic - almost as if you were staying in a home that reflected the owner’s entire life. Just wonderful. Nothing.

Comfortable and cozy Breakfast was a little small. You get a little basket with a tiny yogurt, fruit, and a very small pastry.

The room was exceptionally clean. The innkeeper was a pleasure to chat with. Breakfast was not breakfast……. It was fruit and yogurt.
