This is not a fancy hotel. But if you’re looking for something easy and really close to all the action this is the place. It was clean, the staff was really friendly, I could see the Morro Rock from my window. I could also hear the lion seals barking when I woke up, kinda fun! Plus, there’s a really good coffee shop right across the street named Scout. Great location, great staff, clean room. I will be coming back here

Close to the boardwalk and a great place to spend the night while on a multi day roadtrip. Staff was accommodating and got us into the room early.

This is a really motel,

Front desk was friendly and welcomed me kindly. The room is very well kept and charming. Location is walkable to all things Morro Bay has to offer. Noise travels easily between the rooms, so be sure to grab complimentary ear plugs at the front desk.

Front office staff extremely kind and accommodating. No air conditioning so very warm. Room and bedding pretty dirty. We stayed on business and got what we paid for

Requested upper floor in advance, received dated small room first floor. Small bathroom, shelf falling off wall. I heard snoring all night and not my husband.

Was great place clean room, easy to find, plenty of parking. I would stay here again anytime

I purchased three nights at the Morro Crest through Expedia which stated it was pet friendly. We arrived on the 24th of June and had a quiet night. The next afternoon I got a call from the office that they were demanding us to leave because of the pet. I argued with him that it was registered as a assistive pet and that did not seem to matter. They told me if we didn't leave they would call the police. We called the police to find out what our options were and they said they would not come out on a call like that that it was ridiculous since they advertise their pet friendly. Disgusted we left the next day I did not get a refund on my room I have file the complaint with the Department of Justice for a violation of the American with Disabilities Act. My advice is if you want to stay here don't bring your animal there was nothing else that was particularly good about this property. David

The location was perfect to many restaurants and shops. There was suitible parking and the room was clean. The only drawback was that the wifi seemed to be weak in the room where I stayed.

Great views and great place to stay and easy to get to.

Had on site parking. The motel was close to restaurants and shopping.

The questionable: staff was not friendly or helpful, check-in was very late afternoon (4 pm), questions were curtly answered, TV service was poor at best, sounds from neighbors transmitted easily through the walls. Summary: OK for an overnight crash pad, because it’s one of the least expensive for the area. But to stay a while to take in the attractions of the area, I would recommend paying a little more for a better room.

Very good place to stay if visiting the California coast

Bad:Beds were very small( doubles) upstairs room was hot unless you had all windows, door. Fan running.small parking spots. Would probably stay somewhere more updated next time .
