Cozy hotel, the bed is comfortable. We love how it close to everything.

Room was clean, and updated the staff were helpful. We liked that we could walk to the Embarcadero

Front desk staff throughout stay were friendly and helpful. Room had A/C unit and it worked

The room was clean. We had clogged sink, it took 3 people and more than 1 day to have it resolved. That gave unpleasant after taste for the stay. The screen door to the balcony did not lock.

Positive though was how clean the sheets were and how transparent they were about how they clean the sheets - excellent industrial washer machines and soft bed. Just can't justify the price for how bad the mold infestation is.

What a disappointment, Hotel Avisa was! We reserved a room with two queen beds, and asked for a second for a room with balcony. When we arrived, Muriel was manning the desk. He was unfriendly, and curt. We arrived at 10 till four and had to wait 10 minutes for a room to be ready. It was the middle of the week, Tuesday. We went up to our room and were disappointed. We did not have a balcony, or at least one we could stand on and had a view of the parking lot which was noisy. For $170 a night room it was not worth it. It was dirty, had no microwave in the room, and we couldn’t turn off our remote to the TV because it needed new batteries. The screen leading out to “the balcony),the bathroom door and fan we’re filthy. The shower curtain was ripped in several places.The bath faucet was installed crooked. The bathroom walls were patched, but not painted .Will not be staying here again

Nice room and a great distance from the town.

Room was very basic and straightforward. AC was super strong which was perfect after being out in the summer heat. Staff was kind, but you can definitely tell only one to two people are on duty at a time. It is a small hotel so completely understandable. This was perfect for a short stay where we were out most of the time and just needed a place to rest. Well maintained and no frills. Would stay here again.

Staff was great, rooms very clean, had scenic balcony view of Morro Rock. Was walking distance to liquor stores, restaurants and shopping. great place to stay!

Staff welcomed us and check in was quick and smooth. The room was clean and prepped. We had a great stay.

The location was great!! Easy walk to the Main Street. The staff was very nice at both check in and check out. Possibly some miscommunication between shifts as we were called after we went to sleep and informed we “hadn’t checked in”?!? Other than that minor mixup, loved it all!

Great stay and location for what we needed

Super view of the rock from our room. Quiet simple and clean, though we didnt spend much time in our room other than sleeping.

Parking garage was nice, short walk to Morro Rock. No breakfast was a bummer but restaurants were walkable.

Great hotel and an excellent choice for a stopover. It's in a fantastic location, within easy walking distance of the marina, as well as plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops. There is ample parking at the facility. The room was comfortable, and we had a very pleasant and relaxing stay. We would happily stay here again.
