Location was ideal and balcony room with water/marina views was amazing. Hourly shuttle and water taxi made it very convenient for the short ride to downtown. We liked the clean and relaxed feel of Mt Pleasant vs staying in downtown district. The only drawback is the Fishhouse is the only restaurant on the premises for breakfast, lunch, & dinner. Daily espresso and bottled water was always available. Pool at beach resort next door was very nice and easily accessible. We would stay here again.

First off, we would stay here again! Great location. We loved the Water taxi being at this location. The pool & hot tub was great! It definitely needs to be updated. More modern technology. More USB’s. More outlets. I don’t like the split door to the bathroom, they are tough to open, maybe some WD40 might help. The tub/shower doesn’t work for us. The door is too short for the tub, which can cause extra water on the floor. The toilet is too low, plus the door to the shower hits the toilet. The pumps for the shampoo/body wash didn’t pump, we just opened and poured them out. The bathroom sink has a slow drain. The room was tended to while we were out but the floor wasn’t swept. Still dirty when we returned. These floors are white, so very noticeable. I couldn’t communicate with the housekeeper in the hallway, she didn’t speak English. They have great shuttle drivers to Charleston. James was excellent. Free water is a plus! It’s hot in Charleston. It’s appreciated. The free 211 bus in Charleston was such great advice. Free breakfast would be really nice!

Rooms were overlooking bay, quiet, walkable all around, very nice place to stay

We had so much fun at this resort. They game complementary water and ice cream that hit the spot on a very hot day. The close proximately of the water taxi to downtown or to other attractions was awesome. I really had a great time! Everything was easily accessible. The public transportation was also good and it was free to the African American Museum and aquarium. The shuttle to downtown was also a delight. We had the most amazing shuttle bus driver who gave us tips on how to get around. I would definitely stay here again.

Rooms need some touch up paint and revamping. Beautiful views. Would stay again and again!

Had to ask for the room to be cleaned, and new towels everyday. Noisy in the evening with people coming in late after drinking.

Great resort, love the convenience of having Tiki Bar right there by the pool and all the other amenities of the resort.

The location is great as are the views and amenities. One major issue was that the rooms were not maintained or updated. For example, the sliding door on the bathroom was difficult to open and close and didn't close all the way. There was an issue with the humidity level in our room that wasn't solved by decreasing the room temp. The shower ceiling was peeling and chipping. Carpets in the hallways were dated. And above all- every little noise from the hallway could be heard inside our room. I don't know if they've renovated rooms within the complex or if all of them are in need of upkeep.
