Captain's Quarters Resort

Very clean and beautifully designed room. Bed slept great! I loved that we had everything we needed. Staff was friendly except for certain ones picking up towels. The WiFi was good. Parking was great! Variety of pools in 3 different sections.

The listing photos are very contradicting of what your room is in person , the outside ac unit looks and smells like it had black mold. The floors were still dirty , and there is no lock on the closet of a bathroom . Due to already being checked in and not wanting to find another hotel for Saturday night , we went to the front desk and asked the associate to look up our room number and tell us how much another night would be , we were told due to rate fluctuating, it would only be $12.00 . I verified this amount with her several times , also had her verify that i would not be charged anything else , she verified and gave us a receipt with that amount , I checked my bank account today and $165.00 was taken out ! I've been on the phone with 4 associates having to call back and forth , for the last one to tell me that would never be a rate , I explained this was the rate we were given and told , so once again I have to call AGAIN ! And dispute these charges that were not authorized at all . The price they guaranteed is on them , not my doing if they miscalculated this price , please get this corrected before I have to contact more people .

I truly enjoyed being on the oceanfront. The stay was great. I love updating they are doing

The place was dirty the room was dirty as far as the walls the floors. The kitchenette needed a good surface cleaning. The carpets in the hallways outside the rooms were filthy they need to be ripped up and replaced.

Check in process was smooth. Rooms were clean but the bed was hard as a brick. Not comfortable at all. Once you come in the room there is a bed with a tv (weird setup but I get the concept). The tv in that room was bigger and more up to date than the tv in the main section of the room. Staff was friendly. We had a great view of the beach. The jets were not working properly in the hot tubs and it looked as though they needed a good thorough cleaning (along with the pools). There was no A/C in the elevators which made it unbearably hot. I don’t think I’ll be returning for a visit.

READ THIS, Nasty hotel, they didn't refund my money I only stayed one night and they didn't refund my other 3 nights Don't stay in this hotel is disgusting , staff not friendly,. Trash in the pool , roaches everywhere.

There was no breakfast. I just feel like for the price the resort should atleast offer a free continental breakfast. When I made the reservation, several months earlier I put a preference for a room on the 9th floor or higher to be away from some of the noise and we get put on the 3rd floor.
