Compass Cove Myrtle Beach

The whole trip was a nightmare. Arrived to get faked out with pics of another room. The elevators were out. We walked all our belongings trip by trip to our room with the heat index high. There were no bell hops either!! Top the cake with a fire alarm falsely going off 3am in morning and told to exit the building which was in the rain!! The last thing told was ' ingnore it now because the system is faulty???!!! There was not just one thing wrong, pools closed for unknown reasons at all times of day! Don't waste your money here, they will take it and not apolpgize.

We loved how close everything was to our room. The pools were crystals clear and refreshing. Loved that the beach was only a hop, skip & a jump away. The resort was quiet and clean. We’d def stay there again!!

Horrible experience, got the schooner building with "ocean view". The only thing you could see from the first floor, which I requested the highest floor available was a pool right outside your room with a bunch of people and kids screaming and you couldn't see the ocean because of the people, would have to leave your curtains closed for any privacy. It also had a embedded smell that was rotten maybe sewer? Maybe someone left something in the fridge to long but it was horrible. I was there maybe 30 minutes and try to get a dif room and the manager wasn't able to "help" with it. I requested a refund and she didn't even want to give me my money back for that day even though the issues were the hotels problem. I finally got refunded for my other 2 days I booked, and a partial refund on the check in day that I ended up leaving, all this really took up one of my whole days and having to find another place to stay. I do not recommend compass cove anyone can do better, the customer service alone helped make the decision.

Room had roaches and previous guest’s items still inside. Sofa bed was filled with cookie crumbs. Front desk staff slow to respond. Did not send someone to spray for bugs until day 3. They didn’t offer to relocate my family.

Not enough smoking areas The room didn’t look like what I seen when I booked The couch bed was nothing but springs We went and bought a air mattress When needing toiletry and other items was a long wait

Roaches in our room and front desk made no accommodations. I requested pest control 3 times and someone was finally sent one day before checkout. Room had previous guest items still inside. Sofa bed full of cookie crumbs. Had to purchase bleach and clean the room before we felt comfortable.

Traveled with family. We had 18 in our group. We got a 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom. I would suggest that if you have 8 in your group to get the 3 bedroom. We made the 2 bedroom work, but it was cramped. Staff was great. Anytime you needed anything all you had to do was text and they would answer your needs quickly. I would definitely go back again.

We liked everything about the resort. It was very clean the staff very helpful and always spoke in passing and they made sure you had what you needed. The restaurants were great and food was good. The service from the restaurants was good. The outside attractions (pools) were awesome. Have the beach at your feet was even great.

When I arrived, I found that the tub had a ring of dirt around it. I immediately called the front desk and was told that housekeeping would clean it while I was out for dinner. When I returned later that evening, the bathroom had still not been cleaned. I called the front desk again and was informed that there were no other rooms available, and that housekeeping would take care of it first thing in the morning. The next morning came, and once again I had to call to request that someone come clean the bathroom. What was most frustrating was that every time I called, the person I spoke with seemed completely unaware of the situation. This gave me the impression that my concerns were never treated with any urgency or properly communicated to the housekeeping team. After dealing with this throughout my stay, I requested a refund. Instead, I was told that it was "simply a housekeeping issue" and was only offered reimbursement for the $15 housekeeping fee. Considering that I spent the first night and majority of the morning in a room with an unsanitary bathroom and had to repeatedly follow up to have the issue addressed, I found this response inadequate.

I booked a 3 room with 4 Queen beds and 1 king. When we got there it was 1 king, 1 queen, 2 twin. It was okay bc we ended up having enough beds. There wasn't good water pressure in one of the bathrooms. The rest was awesome. Loved having the parking garage in the same building we were staying. The water features were perfect for the kids. We really loved the area of beach infront of the hotel, and the adults liked having 3 life guards. We ate at the restaurant and everything was delicious and staff was wonderful. We will be booking next year for our family trip.

Everything was pretty good the elevator didn’t work anytime we were there so that was pretty inconvenient. We smoke so we had to walk down 4 flights of stairs just to smoke because they complained when we smoked on the balcony but couldn’t fix the elevator. Been here twice now and definitely recommend the pinnacle building over the Schooner building way nicer.

We enjoyed our stay! The kids loved the indoor pool/waterslides.

Always enjoy our stay here. Will definitely book again.
