Nobody bothered us we got everything we asked for Good location

Friendly, convenient. Grounds clean. Some descent activities to just stay there for a day. Microwave was newly replaced but not remounted to cabinet wall yet. With coffee machine and sink, we had no counter space. It wasn't expecting a lot, but it was an issue moving around things all week. Freezer was not defrosted, unusable space because ice chunks. I didn't complain because I didn't want maintenance in my way either. Needs better maintenance walk throughs to prevent issues.

I liked that it was beach front and had enough beds in the room for my family and no bugs! The stains on the bed and that we were not told the water slides were not in operation when booking.

The water Park and closeness to the beach were amazing. Our room was not very clean upon arrival. We had to ask for the sofa bed to be changed before sleeping. The house keeper didn’t even put a new sheet on the bed due to the sofa bed being broken. We asked for the sofa bed to be fixed and nobody came to look at it. My son just slept on the couch as is. Was not a big deal but definitely a let down. We called the main office to notify them that the outlets on our night stand were broken. Maintenance man told us they don’t use those. He then left the room.

That it was oceanfront The booking I was shown had photos showing a full kitchen and a description of having a full kitchen. I didn’t have a full kitchen. The room was very sandy because they didn’t come in and clean while we were staying. The air conditioning didn’t cool the room down enough so it was so hot we could hardly sleep. The room was tiny.

We loved this property had water slides, an indoor pool and lazy river and outdoor pool and lazy river. Also right there on the beach which is what we really wanted. We were so excited to let our kids play in the pools until we got there to find out you can’t use any pool toys indoors or outdoors which defeats the purpose going on vacation with kids. Our room was not properly cleaned, you couldn’t walk on the carpet without it turning your feet black so we had to wear shoes unless getting in bed. We saw roaches climbing up the walls and reported it but nothing was ever done. Was never informed where the outdoor kid activities were so the hotel was NOT based like the pictures and description especially when there is nothing online about rules to the water slide which close early and low and behold two days before we left my kids weren’t allowed on the water slides with no reason giving to us just that they can’t allow them to go (they had their bracelets) but they didn’t have a problem letting my kids go down the water slides the first two days we were there? The strict rules for the balcony, or even being outside to cook out, swim and enjoy your vacation was absolutely ridiculous. Yet nothing online was mentioned we found all the strict rules out once we got there. Between the room issue and the restrictions it almost ruined our vacation experience, thankfully we were there to spend time as a family on the beach was our only good outcome.

The floors were nasty,the sinks were stopped up and wouldn’t drain, the room smelled like urine in the kitchen area, we would call for extra blankets or towels and such and never get them. Maintenance came twice said something about a water leak that was causing the smell and unclogged the sinks but they still didn’t get us another room and when I went to talk to the manager she wrote down my concerns told me they would send someone up to the room and she would contact me about the situation which never happened. Everything! The room was absolutely horrible.

While the oceanfront location is beautiful, the condition and management of this property fell far below expectations. Our problems included: * We were locked out of our room for an extended period around 3:00 PM because our key stopped working. * I contacted management multiple times. The General Manager told me he had to wait until the bed bug inspection was complete before discussing any compensation or resolution. He called twice while I was on the beach, I returned his calls, left a voicemail the next morning, and never received another response. * The lack of communication and follow-up from management was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. The property itself also raised serious concerns: * The resort feeds a large number of stray cats around the property. * The stairs leading to the beach smelled strongly of cat urine. * There was cat feces in areas where children were playing in the sand near the beach access. Seeing children lying and playing around animal waste was disturbing. * Cat feces can carry diseases and parasites, creating unnecessary health risks for guests, especially children. *we were unable to use the beach in front of hotel for 3 of our days and we paid full price. Never was informed by resort that the beach would be unavailable in our oceanfront resort. Overall, the property did not meet the level of cleanliness or customer service expected from a family resort. While the beach itself is wonderful, management’s lack of communication, sanitation concerns, and the overall condition of the property overshadowed the experience. I cannot recommend Compass Cove based on my experience and hope management takes guest concerns seriously moving forward.

Great staff and the property was well maintained. Would have been nice to have more activities on property.

Location was nice , staff was nice Felt dirty as soon as you walk into the room. Sheets and carpet was so dirty. So many roaches had to leave the same day and ask for a refund.

There was a bed bug in the shower curtain

I enjoy tge entire resort

The kitchens could’ve been a lot cleaner come with a little more utensils. You need to spray for roaches water damage on the ceiling, sleeper sofa, broken spiders on the walls.

Location of the beach and all the pools Nonthing

Beds were super firm (just not my preference) and the linens were not very nice although they were pristen clean. The doors to the room are VERY HEAVY and the hinge automatically closes on itself. Very hard to get multiple people in and out without being hurt by the door.
