Dunes Village Resort

Waterpark was awesome!! So many pools and hot tubs, there was never an issue of feeling over crowded. Needs minor updating

Just everything about Dunes Village. Super clean

Nothing I was unable to check in. My reservation was in my daughter name. She had thname updated to me through booking.com but the hotal would not except an confirmation email from booking.com. they stated there system was not updated so I could not stay there. I had to find a different hotel to stay in. The staff was extremely rude and do not want to help me. I have never been treated so badly I am still trying to get my money refunded to me.

Our room was clean and spacious, and we had a beautiful view of the water. The property was well laid out, with lots to do for kids. The water park is under cover, so even tho the weather wasn’t great, kids still were able to enjoy the park (we don’t have kids, but could see children having fun). The property was right on the beach, so easy walk to the water. The room was equipped with frig and micro, so storing and heating leftovers was convenient. We ate at the Sea Captains House 5 minutes down the road and it was a wonderful meal with attentive service and beautiful view - highly recommend!

The view and the water park Parking was terrible. You actually had to park in the parking deck away from the hotel

Full kitchen, so you can prepare your own meals and snacks if you wish. We love the water parks. The staff is lovely

We liked that it was right on the beach. Our particular room was very old and needed some updating. Hands down the smallest bathroom I have ever seen. One of the two tv's had a bad remote, bad electrical outlet with exposed wires at the furthest end table, refrigerator wasn't cold enough. Condenser fan is about to go. We did like the location of the resort, and the staff was very friendly. Hated that there were not any umbrellas to get out of the sun without paying an extra fee. Not everyone wants to bake all day!

Clean rooms. Great for families. A little dated, but we had a great time!

Many things for families to do on-site. Property was well kept, but the rooms were a 3 out of 5. Great view but not appealing inside.
