Forest Dunes Resort

Forest Dunes Resort is a wonderful place to stay. You have a home-away-from-home feel. The large, spacious areas made it perfect for a getaway.

The kids and I loved our stay here! We didnt have to walk far to get to the beach. The pool and lazy river were nice in the evening, It was an overall quiet place to stay. I loved the on site security as well. It made me feel safer traveling as a single Mom with two young children.

Forrest dunes went downhill from 20 years ago when we first started staying there

The location is quiet and beautiful. Lovely, clean property with staff keeping things nice all day. This is a very safe spot with on site security and helpful staff. The food at buckets bar and grill was delicious. Parking was easy. The beach was gorgeous and our teens lived all the different pools. The room was well appointed and extremely comfortable. Everything you need to cook meals in the kitchen. Tons of towels!

Great location and amenities. Room was clean and had a nice view. Would book here again in the future.

Clean pools, hot hot hot tub Clean rooms

The security guy was kinda creepy and odd acting but other than that all was well. And a few guests were saying the same thing. Also getting the check in info took a while and we did t get the info to get into the room till 415 or so and that was after I made a few phone calls.

The bed was hard and uncomfortable.

Room was not ready, requested floor was not honored, was never able to talk to manager about returning money. Horrible smell in room that we were assigned. Told no other room available by two people.. Our reservation was made one month in advance. Two week vacation, no cleaning service, no linens. BUCKETS was great. We stayed at Beach Colony and walked back to eat at Buckets. Girls we were able to talk to a Carolina Dreams were helpful but unable to render decisions without manager. We tried 4 days with no response. We stayed at Forest Dunes 5yrs and it is unfortunate that we will culminate that series.

The view from this condo the best thing about this rental. The condo was not clean when we checked in and had to request that it be redone. Furniture is dirty and worn out and the sheets in the MBedroom did not fit snd kept coming off. The paint was peeling on the ceilings. Not a good experience.

The property is old as many of them at the beach are but dont let the outside fool you. The inside was very nicely kept. The room was very clean. The stay was enjoyable 😉
