Great hotel for families with multiple kids.

Very good
-
5th time at Myrtle and this been the best stay so far!
-
Everything was perfect, so many things to do with the kids, amazing drinks for us adults and the accesses to the pool or beach was excellent.
-
the wait for elevators was always long. You have to go up to go down always packed and lines and you waited on your floor sometimes 20 mins for the elevetors.
-
The elevators were the biggest bottleneck in the whole place, though work was done in an attempt to fix it every day of our stay. This did not stop housekeeping from getting to our room to keep it clean. The towels are fluffy, soft, and in good supply, both at the pool and in our room. All the pools are designed for families with kids and have shallow areas and great water slides. Cabanas are available but are pricey. Get out early to the pools to get a good chaise with umbrella. The breakfast buffet never got too crowded and the scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, hot and cold cereals, coffee, fruit, yogurt, and pastries were fresh and plentiful. The staff was friendly, attentive, and the omelets were made to order. They even have some gluten-free selections.

We enjoyed the pools and beach access, but the room showed obvious ware with things not being properly fixed or maintained (just painted over). The complimentary drinks each day was a big plus, but don’t think I would stay at this hotel again at the price point we paid.

For starters the room was pretty neat and clean and the balcony was nice too. The breakfast was amazing it had very good flavor and I liked how there was a lot to pick from. One problem that the hotel had was the public bathrooms one of the sinks weren’t working nor one of the soap dispenser. But besides that the bathroom was very clean. The staff were amazing and very helpful. Will come back again

Great resort for families. Only issue was long elevator waits for higher level guests.

This has been by dar the worst hotel stay of my life. The air conditioning was down in most of the hotel. My room thermostat was at 75 degrees most of the time. An engineer came to assess the issue leading to water leaking onto the carpet from bleeding the unit. An elevator was down leading to long lines in the lobby and having to allow multiple elevators pass since there was no room. Having to walk down the stairs on multiple occasions. Then to top it off on our last day there was a flood across from us that produced a foul feces odor throughout the entire hallway. Again, this was by far one of the worst experiences ever staying at a Hilton.

This place was great!! Hotel was clean, and staff was very helpful! Chairs are hard to get at pool, so I recommend going early to get a spot. Overall 5/5 stars. We will definitely be back!

Amazing resort staff great elevator not working

The biggest issue was the elevators. One elevator was out of service for all three days with no visible progress toward a repair. In a 20-story resort, this created extremely long waits every time guests needed to go up or down. The complimentary breakfast was appreciated, but the dining area struggled to keep up with the volume of guests. Tables remained dirty, food was left on chairs and floors, and we repeatedly watched multiple tables being wiped with the same dirty rag, which unfortunately made the area feel unsanitary. The pool was nice, but there needs to be a policy for lounge chairs. Many guests reserved chairs with towels and bags for hours while never returning, leaving others with nowhere to sit. The location is absolutely beautiful, and The Black Drum restaurant was fantastic. We were also surprised that many amenities, including room service, closed so early despite the resort being full. With better staffing, elevator maintenance, and improved cleanliness, this resort could truly be exceptional.

Elevator was broken for entire trip which created very long wait times. AC was out in room and Hotel front desk staff was rude and unapologetic for all the inconveniences we had to experience and would not provide us with another room with working AC. They kept saying it was being fixed. Will not revisit this Embassy Suites ever again. Hilton Corporate should go visit that hotel and see how poorly it's ran and get guest feedback. Common theme I heard from other guest as well that they will not return.

The water in our bathroom was cold
-
We loved it here but only thing is building inside is old they need to renovate that elevator system is super busy and they need to fix their elevators too. We love it and and my kids love the part of the pool and the beach part. They have a very beautiful view at the nighttime.
-
Not enough elevators, and 2 were broken. Had to wait 20 minutes every time
-
Breakfast and pool are nice. Rooms are old and crusty
-
The hotel was super nice. We had dinner at the restaurant downstairs and I must say it was absolutely delicious. The resorts kind of secluded which was a major plus for us. The only thing that we didn't care for were the lack of elevators. Pack some patience if you have somewhere to go during check in or check out hours.
