We had great experiences at the Royale Palms!!!

Good for a weekend getaway.

We had a great stay and a wonderful time! The property was clean and the staff were nice. The condo was very spacious and it felt like home away from home. We will definitely come back to stay again!

II have stayed here before in the two bedroom condo and this time I was not allowed to have this room, I noticed in the room I did have that beside me and under me no one was in those rooms but I was not allowed to book one of those. I had to get the ocean view guest room and it was not the same experience. The television was small, the balcony didn’t lock and the handle came off so maintenance had to come, there was a dripping or tapping noise in the fan in the bathroom so we had to close the door. The fan tapped loud if you had it on high, the light from the hall shown under the door. It just didn’t feel like I stayed in the same place. I will come back again only if I had the two bedroom oceanfront because it was outstanding and that’s why we came back. The view was supposed to be ocean view but we was on the 19th floor with a small ocean view and the rest was the top of buildings and the parking lot area. I did like how the balcony was not small but this visit was mid. The staff was good and the room was clean but I would prefer a better room. Also this time the parking situation, last time we was given something to hang, now we had to scan something and it was $40. Didn’t like that.

Our family stays at the Kingston Plantation every time we travel to Myrtle Beach. This particular unit we stayed in Royal Palms RM 2006P wasn't equipped like the ones in the past. Not big issues but something you expect to have given you spent a few thousand on a room. No paper towels, only 1 roll of TP in each bathroom. And the bathroom that my sons used the door knob latch that keeps the door closed and locked was missing. So there was no way of keeping the door shut without putting something there in front of it. Windows were very dirty. Overall the condo was nice but needed a little TLC.

It was a beautiful property. But some things in the condo needed to be repaired. The bathroom faucets. The ice maker didn’t make ice. The elevators were broken. But overall we had a good time..

The property was nice. The rooms were nice. The staff was nice. Can't complain, close to everything. The beach, the stores the malls. You name it.
-
The Wet Whistle is our fave and we love the property, staff & amenities - beach is always clean.

Will definitely stay again! Great place for families.

The resort itself is beautiful. If you’re going to charge $1600 for a condo, I would think it would be a lot cleaner. We found dirty panties right next to the bed, the refrigerator had old food all over it, pots and pans were dirty, no extra towels, no pillows for the pull out couch; just wished the room was a little cleaner. Besides that the staff was extremely friendly and helpful with what they could offer. Bar good drinks , nice prices and the entertainment by the pool was fun.

Room was not that clean. The bed spread was very stained.

As this was my first visit . Enjoyed this stay, just wished I had a later check out time to actually enjoy the hotel. I would consider this place to be a resort compared to most hotels. The address doesn't make the location. I recommend calling after hours for late check in because you would have to check in at the hotel near by called the landmark. I only stayed a day, but had to get up early to try and get in pool, go to the beach and explore what the hotel has to offer. I was unable to enjoy the amenities for just 1 day. I was traveling solo and had no help getting my bags. I requested a later check out, but there was a late check out fee for more than 30 mins. A few things were missing on the form that they gave me at check-in. The parking garage was a little tight entering, needs to be labeled properly. The stairs were worth using. I wished that they had the indoor hot tub working. I would definitely love to come back if I could check on earlier and check out later. I would definitely use all of the amenities, especially the gym and the STEAM ROOM, which I have been searching for at all hotels. This place has multiple names listed and also named as a Air BNB (very confusing). I felt like I had a curfew for after hours of entering the hotel(code for late entry and gym is provided). They have arm bands for the pool. I WILL DEFINITELY come back to this hotel, because of the amenities and cleanliness. The parking garage is small, not sure if they have overflow parking.

Let’s just say - “we will be back”

Average rooms, outdated decor in room, but very clean. Elevator usage sucked, so 5th floor down for stair usage next time!
