The Dunes location can be very questionable for a female traveler. Staircase not well lit or up kept. Can feel scary entering and leaving room. Feels very isolated.

We stayed here for 5 days and were really excited for the beach view. But when we walked in we saw the couch was dirty, it black spots around it. There also black mold on the walls when we brought down the second bed. It’s a pretty place online with an amazing view but not clean as it is claimed.

I also loved having a kitchen area in the hallway … it was a really convenient feature and added to the functionality of the room. Unfortunately, the condition of some of the furniture and decor in our room left a lot to be desired. The couch was ripped and heavily stained, and the decorative pillows on the bed appeared to be heavily stained and very worn. These things were pretty disappointing and took away from an otherwise enjoyable stay. For the price and overall quality of the resort, I expected the room furnishings to be in much better condition. Overall, the location, pools, amenities, bathroom, and family-friendly layout were definite highlights. With some attention to cleaning and replacing worn-out furniture and decor, the room experience could be much better.

Everything is excellent

Was very impressed with this three star hotel, very clean newly remodeled for the price very impressed love the room and my ocean view. Only thing I didn’t like is that the pool seem to look a little dirty to me that was the only flaw and I didn’t like checking in at the registration building at a different building

I LOVE this place. Of all the places I’ve stayed in Myrtle Beach, Sc this is by far my favorite and will be where I stay on my next visit! Won’t have to look any further! It’s so convenient, everything you need is right there, big bonus for the Starbucks on property! Very family friendly, gorgeous location. I mean, just excellent! My only request would be for cleaner floors in my room and a working phone number to call and speak with the hotel. We were trying to reach them about check in and the phone number was not working. Everything else was PERFECT! ps- go eat at the restaurant next door for lunch it’s AMAZING!
