The Shore House

Very cute boutique hotel. Right across from the water. Really enjoyed stay

I have never written a bad review before but I do read reviews before I book places, and I thought it might be helpful to future travelers looking at the Shore House… it is definitely more motel than nice hotel despite the $500 plus price tag…The fitted sheet did not fit at all and the corners would pop off every time you sat or laid on the bed… It is a beach hotel without a place to rinse off your feet when coming from the sand, which made no sense… and the trash from the restaurant spilled out into the parking lot right under our room, it was a nauseating way to come and go for sure!

Location and view of the ocean from the hotel is exceptional!

Surprised at the price for the room. Seemed like motel vibes near the water. Breakfast was subpar. Felt like you were eating at a college dorm room. Hot breakfast options would’ve been nice

This hotel was really nice. We just wish our room wasn't on the path to the dumpster. Other than that, very close to the beach. Amenities were wonderful. The room was nice and clean.

Good location in town and the room was nice, if small. There were two people having an epic fight outside our room for an hour at 1am and I’m not sure if staff is typically on duty at that time but no one came out to ask them to quiet down. Parking in Narragansett is scarce but with the hotel reservation, you’ll have a convenient spot secured for your days there.

Location, vibe, staff, hospitality Rooms were cute and updated however not as functional as I would like.

Bkfst was fine. Room was small. Sink was too low. Location was good. Restaurant was very good Room and bath

I was very disappointed with my stay at The Shore House. The room service was poor, and the housekeeping staff was unprofessional. When I asked for the bed sheets to be changed, the maids rolled their eyes, spoke to each other in Spanish, and made me feel like I was inconveniencing them instead of helping a guest. The room itself had several issues. There was a bad smell coming from the shower, and both the shampoo and conditioner dispensers were empty when we arrived. To make matters worse, the water was shut off for about an hour during our stay, and guests were not notified ahead of time. No one apologized or acknowledged the inconvenience afterward. Overall, the lack of communication, poor customer service, and inadequate housekeeping made this a very disappointing experience. Unfortunately, I would not stay at The Shore House again or recommend it to others.

Location right across from beach is excellent . Door to room was very hard to open & close and badly in need of attention. One day the maids left the door ajar after cleaning and left it open all day until we returned back that evening. This was very concerning given that all our personal belongings were in the room and especially since there is not a safe in the rooms.

Lovely space and the staff was amazing

This was a one night stopover for us on our way to block island. Overall it was fine, good location. Unfortunately they were having a water problem and could not serve lunch which we were planning on having on their great outdoor patio. Very nice, friendly staff.

I am answering for my mother-I booked and paid for this stay for my mom and stepdad. Location was great. Nice to be on the first floor b/c they are 88 and 87. Very nice staff at check in I was very disappointed that the room wasn't nicer and the shower leaked and they reported it to staff and it was not fixed for the 3 nights they were there. Breakfast was adequate.

I had a wonderful stay and look forward to my next visit.
