Overlooking Newport Harbor, Narragansett Bay, and Jamestown Island, The Shore House features uniquely decorated rooms. Close to the beach, fishing, and biking of Narragansett provides guests with knowledgeable staff to help with area activities. The on-site restaurant is located on the first floor and offers seafood specialties and Italian cuisine. A wrap-around veranda with rocking chairs is offered for guests who are dining. During the summer season the restaurant is open for lunch and dinner. Narragansett Beach is 2.5 miles from The Shore House. Newport is 30 minutes’ drive and the Block Island Ferry is 6 miles away.

Great location, Ocean front. Cute boutique hotel great restaurant & bar attached to the hotel. Walking distance to restaurants in both directions. Very clean & great staff. Definitely recommended.

Clean room, staff was nice. Bathrooms need updating. Fridge was nice but a microwave would have been nice too. Definitely need a convenient store or small gift shop with toiletries, etc on site.

Fantastic location, a beautiful property with breathtaking views. Wonderful restaurant on the ground floor and the rooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable.

When you enter the shore house it’s really dark, dingy and the front desk area is very cluttered. It’s nothing like the images on the website. The bathrooms are super tiny with the sink outside in the room. The sink is so poorly constructed that you can barely wash your face or brush your teeth without getting water all over the floor. The floors of our room was dirty and sandy. The breakfast choices are awful, the almond milk was sour, the hard boiled eggs looked like they’ve been sitting out for days, the bagels were stale. An extremely underwhelming continental breakfast. I wouldn’t return.

Everything was wonderful. The staff was very friendly. Room was clean. We ate breakfast outside to see the view. My husband used the free bike that they offered. The landscaping was beautiful.

The king bed room on the first floor was a very tiny space. There was no vanity in the sink area so hard to set things out. The water was great for a shower! The continental breakfast was great ! The view from the front porch was of the ocean with plenty of seating!
