Breakfast was underwhelming
-
Great breakfast, clean rooms and helpful staff.
-
Outstanding property in pristine condition.

The property itself was beautiful and all the amenties were very clean and new. The breakfast buffet was great, spa was excellent, and staff was extremely kind! Will absolutely be coming back!
-
Beautiful inside and out. You need to ask someone to unlock the gate every time you want to use a swimming pool.
-
Beautiful property! The room was comfortable, clean and updated. Gym was a nice size with good machine/weight offerings. Would definitely come back for another stay in the future!
-
Really enjoyed my stay. The Inn was 10 out of 10 In cleanliness. 10 out of 10 for Hospitality. Great experience and the breakfast was great as well. Definitely will be coming back.

Stunning property with friendly staff. Well appointed rooms that were clean and comfortable. We wish there was a room refrigerator. The spa was lovely and there was a robust fitness center. Overall, an excellent stay and experience.

The Staff
-
The location was great near alot of fine restaurants and shops A little pricey but nice

Staff was friendly. Lobby was pleasant Room was odd compared to other hotels in it's price range. No table, no chairs in room. Power for electronics was minimal. The interaction with the vineyard was minimal. There was a wedding at the hotel which we were told would not be a problem. We had to walk through the reception to get from the lobby to our room.

Fantastic hidden gem! Stayed at the historical section and loved it!
-
It was beautiful grounds. Halls were old and not that clean. More importantly when we entered our room it smelled, not sure of what. The smell would go away but every time we entered the room it was bad.

Shepherd’s Run has a great gym and pool area, and the rooms are fine but small. What surprised us is that it is essentially a wedding venue rather than a true hotel. Much of the property is devoted to wedding reception areas and a tent. We were told the nearby nature reserve was not accessible by foot and that it was filled with bugs. The winery is not yet open because the vines are so new, so they serve Long Island wines at reception. Our room had one tiny wastebasket next to the toilet, no bottled water, and we were told we could have maid service once during our four night stay. Our stay was fine, but it does feel like you’re in a conference center or wedding venue.

This is our second time staying at Shepherd's Run and we loved it again! We stayed during the week (with our 2 kids) and it is very quiet. I know there are weddings there on the weekends. The Inn and grounds are beautiful, the wine and charcuterie boards are amazing, the rooms are big and nicely updated with modern finishes and the breakfast is delicious!! I can't say enough good things about this wonderful Inn!

It is a beautiful property. Our room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. I had a rose wine that was excellent. It is a very calming place. The bathroom was very dark. It needs a make-up mirror. It would be nice to have the wine bar open a little later. I also felt like it was overpriced. Because of this, I would not stay again, but I would visit the winery.
