Comfort Inn & Suites Nashville Downtown – Stadium

ALOT of people in lobby that were NOT guests. A concert was near by and so alot of the fans were in the lobby buying up all the drinks out of the machine and sitting around to cool off. The elevator is way too small and the elevator floor was coming apart. Too many non guests in the lobby and hanging outside.

I paid my reservation in full a year in advanced. When we went to check in they asked for full payment again, i showed my receipt and they said ok, gave them my credit card for incidentals and they charged my card for the room again. Then came to my room demanding payment saying I never paid. I didnt see the new charge until I was looking for my OG payment on my credit card. Staff was very rude. They claim to have refunded me for the double charge but no credit has been made to my card yet and they refused to give me any kind of receipt or paper trail. Room was ok, but the halls and elevator smelled terrible. Breakfast was lack luster. Pool room was so hot it was unbearable to use. There is construction next door that was heard day and night.

​Well, since we had two kids, it’s not like you can just tell children not to use the bathroom when they really need to go. To make matters worse, the next day nobody even showed up to our room, they didn't offer us another room, and they didn't even bother to ask or care about our problem. ​I left this place feeling deeply disappointed, and I hope management does something about this, especially since the staff at the front desk on our first night were neither friendly nor professional.

Room was large and clean with new bathroom. Breakfast options were good. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. 15 minute walk to Broadway - well lit and safe.

I have been to many Comfort Inn places to stay but this one is very outdated and in need of a complete overhaul. I believe the building was once owned by another company, but the inside was very outdated, and the pool area seemed so dark inside. I must commend for the breakfast staying open until 10am because while traveling back home we stayed in West Virginia and the breakfast only stayed open until 9am. The Comfort Inn in West Virginia was well cared for and up to date as the others I have stayed in. Also, the shower handle was placed in the center of the shower causing me to bump into it several times and ended up scratching myself from it in the back. I used the bathroom on the first floor and found a small roach walking across the sink. Another item i noticed was that the ice cooler downstairs was painted completely over with black paint instead of replacing it all together. The stairs were poorly made or refurbished incorrectly. Carpet throughout so worn and darkened with stains throughout. These are just a few of the outdated and in need of refurbishing.

Great location, clean rooms, fun pool and easy walk to Broadway St.

Room was clean, breakfast ok, parking good. Some of the staff was rude and act like they didn’t want to be there when specially the dark skin young man. The ladies were fairly nice. No one welcome or thanked you. Front desk staff needs to be a little friendlier. Ladies were helpful and one of the managers. The young dark skin man needs to take a customer service class. I have been working withe the public half of my life and I know what a smile or thank you does.

The room was objectively fine. The experience could have been better for the price, but it was an okay experience. Not that they could help it, but the construction happening across the street caused disruptions to the traffic flow and riding sharing services. Additionally, I was charged an undisclosed $50 damages fee that has not yet been returned to my account. For a one night stay that we only used the room to sleep in, I feel this amount should have been returned to me by now.

The staff was amazing! They were friendly and provided excellent recommendations. The hotel was clean. The main complaint I had was the central areas were warm. At one point the thermostat in the hallway read 81° and its in the 90's outside. The water in the shower never got really hot.

It would have been nice to know that a FOOTBALL ARENA was being constructed immediately next door. Streets to the hotel were blocked for construction making exiting and entering difficult. Also, no shuttle service to events. Other than that, the room was clean and the pool was refreshing.

The check-in staff were very rude; they were unhelpful and will surely not go there again...

Staff was very rude and did not have a sense of urgency when there was what seemed to be a bed bug on one of the pillows. Maintenance man accused my guests and I of bringing the bed bug on property. Staff continued to walked in our room with out knocking knowing my guests and I were packing our belongings to leave the property,
