The staff were very welcoming and professional. The room was very clean and well maintained. I would recommend this motel - if you are staying in Nashville.

It was an active place but our room was very quiet.

Room was great. Everything was clean. Staff was courteous and very helpful.

Nice hotel at Nashville downtown area. Very clean place. Just note there is not continental breakfast but you can buy it as a option also parking is not free you pay per night just in case. But definitely good option to be close to Broadway strip where all the live music action take place.

My stay at this hotel was spot on. The room was clean, the staff were helpful and friendly. Having the restaurant, bar and pool were a plus. Definitely would come back.

The room was clean and was all we needed for two nights.
-
Nice property, room was nice and spacious clean and pleasant. Good location, convenient to get down to Broadway Street. The restaurant was nice however they advertise live music and bar atmosphere but it was dead and closed before midnight. Understaffed in the restaurant for breakfast so wait was very long for service. Parking was horrible. Unless you valet, you have to park behind the building and walk all the way around because they’re doing construction on the patio in the back so you cannot enter through there.

From July 27th to August 4th was probably one of the most heartbreaking events of my families lives. We checked in and stayed at this Holiday Inn while our son was in the Hospital in Nashville fighting for his life and I must say one thing we didn’t have worry with was our hotel stay. The staff from the lobby to Valet to Housekeeping went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect as it could be. They showed great hospitality sympathy and all around just awesome service!! We highly recommend this hotel for anyone’s stay!!! 10 stars if I could rate it that way!!!!

The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, but we had a problem with our toilet backed up. We couldn’t get a plugger until the next morning. Breakfast was hot and fresh. I didn’t use the bar so I can’t speak about the bar. The hotel has van service that will take and pick you up from downtown until 11:30pm/11:45pm. This is a stellar amenity.

Live music in the hotel's Commodore Lounge was another perk - singer/songwriters performed nightly. We would definitely stay at the Holiday Inn-Vanderbilt on any return trip to Nashville.

Everything was great except parking

I had somewhere to be and was already running late, so I didn’t have time to address the issue immediately. I decided I would speak with the front desk when I returned later that evening. When I got back, the only person working was the night auditor. I explained everything that I had found in the room, but he told me he was unable to help because he was only the auditor and that I would need to wait for another employee. I waited, but no one ever came to assist me. While I was waiting, he asked how I booked the reservation. When I told him it was through Expedia, he said the hotel would not be able to issue a refund and that I would have to contact Expedia instead. Since then, I’ve been traveling and have had a difficult time reaching Expedia. One call was disconnected, and I haven’t had the opportunity to continue trying because of my travel schedule. I’m extremely disappointed with this experience. I did not feel comfortable staying in a room that appeared to have not been cleaned.

This was such a nice location with easy access to many things we wanted to do and walking distance to a few restaurants. Shuttle was a nice bonus (though it wasn't a true 30 minute schedule) with excellent drivers and staff was so nice and helpful. Would stay again!

The breakfast is also fantastic, featuring a wide variety of menu options. My personal favorite is the "Overnight Oats," prepared with rolled oats, fresh berries, and oat milk.
