Homestay Suites

The hotel is poorly maintained. Roaches, peeling paint. Appears families live there as home.

The hotel's posting said there were utensils and amenities in the room. There was not. Also, the bedsheets had holes in them and I laid down fully clothed as I wasn't sure if the sheets were clean. I also killed a roach. I checked in at midnight, and was out by 6am.

Nice enough hotel, but showing its age.

While the room was adequate, the amenities were pretty much non existent. With the exception of toiletries. Location worked fairly well for our planned activities.

The staff were pushy and rude the entire stay. The advertised free airport shuttle could not pick up my partner from the airport upon his arrival, the excuse being it had to be booked a day in advance. While I respect the planning, it is hard for international travels to book an airport shuttle when they are in the sky on an aeroplane. The dryers in the laundry (of which we pay for) did not dry our clothes, TWICE. We paid a lot of money for our stay in Nashville and were thoroughly disappointed with the experience.

Bedbugs on my bed! Had to book another room elsewhere!

Cockroaches! It's old and run down. Entire building smelled like smoke and mold. Was nobody at the front desk most of the time. Had to take a small set of stairs to access the rooms. No shelves or towel racks in bathroom. Saw cockroaches on the wall so I pulled the bed away from the wall and found a lot of food crumbs under the bed. Would have left to find another hotel if everything in the area wasn't booked solid and it wasn't so late.

Front desk guy was friendly. Had the worst odor. The smell was nauseating in the hallways. Bad lighting and seemed very sketchy. Lobby was poorly kept. It was not pleasant.

Was told to be in the lobby at 520am for the 530am airport shuttle, no shuttle ever showed up and I had to Uber there.

ROACHES IN THE BATHROOM !!!!

I liked that my stay was pleasant with all things considered, being my first time staying anywhere in Nashville. There was a mass transit bus stop very close to the property which was helpful. I did not like my room being close to the hallway door. I could hear the tail end of other guests and staff's conversation.
