Super 8 by Wyndham Nashville Near Downtown / I-40

One of the only perks. There rooms are very much in need of updating. The room also had a very strong smell, sorta like a non use smell. Not completely unpleasant, but also not pleasant. My refrigerator had a loud clicking sound, why this was never picked up by staff I have no idea. To their credit, I told the front desk about it the next morning, and it was promptly changed. My shower had a huge hole in the wall where the shower came through. I always try to pick hotels with breakfast included. By definition, there was a breakfast which consisted of cold raisin bran or fruit loops cereal, bags of mini muffins and coffee. Not what I would call breakfast unless you want to stretch. Parking lot had a couple major potholes, so if you are in a rental be forewarned. Not a place I would use again.

The lady at the desk was nice but the place looks terrible on the outside and is disgusting on the inside. The faucet for the sink was falling off,the couch in the room had stains all over it. The bedsheets had holes burnt in them. The TV didn’t work and took them five different tries of us calling and several maintenance men in and out of our room over a course of about 14 hours and when we finally got a TV, it was a couple fuzzy channels.

The room inside itself seem clean and the staff were great, but the location of the property is sketchy. There are people around the property that give a lil unsafe to the point I did not want to leave my things in the room. Thankfully we was only there for the night. The 1st room, people were hanging out in the front of door drinking or posted on the stairs with 12 packs. The 2nd room we change too was better and give a great view of my car, def was scared it might get broken into. Every door handle on the rooms you have to do a lift trick jiggle which is why we didn't want to leave nothing in the room while we were away. This is not a stay for awhile hotel. This is a let me get a quick rest and not fall asleep on the road place only!! Just because of the outside, I did not sleep under the covers lol

I didn't like any thing about the hotel I would not recommend the hotel to anyone ???I didn't even go in the room I just left and got a better hotel!

Great night sleep for the price and the night staff is very helpful.

I had only read a few quick reviews while trying to book my trip. I was in a hurry and based on the location of the hotel and the few reviews I had read I assumed it would be OK. I was dead wrong. To be clear if you are a single woman traveling by yourself do not stay here. It is not safe. The room was filthy. I was leered at by several men who were just loitering outside of their rooms. A random woman tried to get in my Uber because she seemed to think the driver wanted something from her. Do not recommend.

The photos do not match the rooms. They are dated, the walls, couch, floors, and bathroom are a bit dirty. The beds were clean and comfortable. The ramp up to the rooms was rough with holes and ledges, making it hard to navigate and pull my suitcase over. The location is good with great restaurants nearby, and you’re a 10 minute uber from Broadway. The price is okay, the location makes up for the poor room.

This hotel looks like it is old and recently purchased and is under renovations. It served its purpose for the price. I might consider staying there again.

Terrible

It was the most Meh place I’ve stayed but the light was about to fall out of the ceiling and the area is sketchy

The listing is VERY MISLEADING. We only booked this stay for one night, thankfully. Did NOT feel safe in this area at all! There were a bunch of sketchy, possibly homeless, drug-involved people that clearly hang out in the abandoned lot right in front of this Super 8. They walk up and down the street screaming and yelling for each other and we did not feel safe walking across the street to the bus station. The parking lot was atrocious. The room photos are a FAR CRY from what the rooms actually looked like, at least for ours. The bathroom was incredible small, barely enough room to stand in there and the door was filthy! Sink area and closet was fine. The Tv remote didn't work. The mini fridge kept making a noise nonstop. The air unit was very loud and never cut off. People were screaming in the parking lot outside at 3am. The couch & chairs should be hauled off to the dump; didn't even sit on them. The mattress had very questionable red/orange stains on it and the wall facing those stains ALSO had stains...it was absolutely disgusting! Either the fire alarm or the carbon monoxide alarm had a plastic bag over it. We booked it because it was affordable and the ratings didn't seem that bad... but boy, was it wrong! Thankfully a friend from the concert we were in town for, gave us a ride back that night because we did NOT feel safe taking the bus back to that area!! (The bus that runs that route out of Downtown was the dirtiest bus we've been on...NYC buses ARE CLEANER!!)

The staff at check-in was on a phone call the entire time while we checked in. The room had a smoke-like smell for a non-smoking room. The shower/bathtub was dirty-looking. The tv and fridge were plugged into a power strip that had to be stretched and plugged into the wall upon us getting into the room.

Ok Tolet was rockey, safety, no pad lock or chain lock, no luggage cart. Not well commendations not fo seniors

Not one thing I could say positive about this place at all. Nastiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Felt like I was going to get an STD from sleeping there. Prostitution all around. Crackheads all around. Dangerous area. Standing water in the bathtub.
