Super 8 by Wyndham National City Chula Vista

Room has strong smell dog pee. No water even in the so called 'breakfast' - no real food only a few cheap plastic wrapped cupcake from Dollar Tree. The milk make me run toilet 4 times in the morning.

It was a place to sleep. Fairly clean, kind of sketch neighborhood, but felt reasonably safe. Parking was tight but doable.

Very poor amenities no lotion or conditioner they have more of an all in one bottle and only bottle in the tub. Sheets were stained with black and red or brown. Hair and pubes inside the sheets the fridge was either semi cold or freezing the breakfast was a complete joke you either got sunny D juice or milk. Coffee more burnt than a cactus in Death Valley and if you get lucky you can get a Twinkie or a chocolate cupcake either or depending on the day walks are extremely thin the only thing I would say I liked was that to get in or out of the hotel was you need a rfid key to come in no strangers can just walk in parking can be a little difficult depending on your vehicle, there is a 7-11 next door oddly enough seems to be the same owners as the hotel because all the toiletries you would need in case if you forgot them the 7-11 had them.

Room was VERY basic, no comfortable chairs, just a table and office chair. Bed not extremely comfortable. Liked that the room was clean, but walls paper thin, heard people arguing all night long. Conveniently close to 805fwy

Being honest it was a two day budget stay, but the place was better then expected. It was at a wonderful location we were close to gas lamp district, seaworld etc. and the place smelled great and overall clean!

The rooms are not very clean, the “breakfast” is cereal, juice and coffee. It is not kid friendly. They do NOT have cribs available. Do not stay here!

Rooms are clean but the front desk guy was really rude.

Everything was good only thing that was really weird was that the cleaning lady’s would go into the room and clean while I was asleep.

Breakfast terrible only cereal & apple juice in a bottle with was stale. The shower was low in pressure, I’ve spoke to the front desk about it & he said “no Matience work on weekends” have to show id to get in the premises, also the area is questionable. The good thing about it was the room is spacious & clean also their is a 7 eleven next door if you care for the convince of it

The guy at the front desk was nice and as helpful as he could be. Room could have been cleaner, and a bit cooler when you walk in. Would have been nice if the tv screen worked. They need better continental breakfast options.

It was quite and clean I did not like the breakfast that could have been better

Our stay was cool. The room was clean, not quite OCD clean but it didn't feel gross. The room was a great temperature and we enjoyed our stay. For the price point we'd stay there again.

So far the best place to stay considering its location and safety. Room is clean and neat.

Also, the website clearly says “light breakfast.” That means cereal, milk, muffins, maybe cookies or small snacks. It never claimed to have waffles, pancakes, eggs, or bacon. People are comparing a budget hotel to a 4 or 5 star resort, and that’s just unrealistic. If you want luxury amenities, then pay luxury prices. For families traveling on a budget, this place did exactly what it advertised. Me and my kids felt safe the entire stay. I didn’t see sketchy people hanging around outside or inside the building, and everyone we interacted with was friendly. We had a really good experience overall, and I would definitely stay here again.

Only one ice machine, on the first floor Need to ask front desk to open the room to get ice

Everything was Good except that the Breakfast could have been little better...It was a basic breakfast... Other than that the Stay was very Good 👍

I was having problem with my boy friend at the time and I wanted some peace and quiet. I was upset and checked in at 11 pm or after. I ask for the staff for privacy if some one call for me don't tell. They said no problem we keep you 100%confidenal. I finally got some good rest thank so so much. Christi I wish I could have stayed longer!

And then the microwave in our room, you had to unplug it to open up the door, then re-plug it back in And the bed was very uncomfortable super hard But other than the room being clean, it was really clean. I think you could add something against that bear wall in the king room that we stayed in but other than that, I would say that if I came back to that area, I would stay there again just some recommendations on the little breakfast thing. The coffee was good and maybe get some sweet creamers.
