As usual, I love the location, the amenities, the free wi-fi and the hotel's value. I kept returning to Hotel Milagro because the staff always granted me a room on the FIRST FLOOR as I requested it. My husband and I am seniors over 65 years old; and I have trouble walking. Therefore, we have always parked in front of our rooms. In addition, the rooms on the first floor are always clean and smells good. However, this time, even though we were the first persons to check in at 3 PM, we were denied a room on the first floor. The rude staff assigned us room# 312, that was at the end of the hallway on the 3rd floor. I have attached photos I took the day we arrived there. The room had a strong bad odor like it was never cleaned or used before us. There were even cobwebs on the ceiling. I went to complain and asked for us to be moved to a different room. However, the staff told me that If we didn't like it, she can refund us the money. We can't go looking for hotels on the very day we arrive; that’s why we booked them weeks in advance. Therefore, we had no choice but to stay in that stinking room. As if that weren't enough, the room's only window looked out onto nothing but the dark hallway. The bathtub was very slippery; so, we needed to put a bath towel at the bottom of the tub to prevent slipping. This left us with only one bath towel for both my husband and me to dry off with. Therefore, the next day in the morning, before we leave for the day, I requested bath towels, the room to be cleaned and a hair dryer. However, when we came back at night, we found the room the way we left it. We couldn't take a shower because my husband and I have used the same towel for 2 days. We needed to add a third night due to an emergency, but we couldn't bathe because we had no bath towels.

Conveniently located near everywhere I needed to be. Super clean room, friendly appreciative staff. I will be back

No hot water

We arrived and our room was full of gnats and we stepped on a live cockroach. We asked to move to the second floor and the gnat problem was the same but not as bad. The beds were very uncomfortable. This hotel is over priced, should bring it down to $65 for the stay. Also I swept and mopped the floor in both rooms and found stuff from other guests and a very dirty floor

In room 313 the space around the door is wide and you can see immense amount of lite coming from outside ,makes u feel it isn't that secure
