My family and I went to a family weekend for our daughter that attends Texas state. All the hotels were sold out in San Marcos so we decided to stay here in new Braunfels. The staff was fine, but the room wasn’t clean. There was mold in the bathroom & the sheets were never changed. The cleaning ladies went in the room to clean but simply just made the bed back up with the same sheets. Sheets smelled like moth balls. & on top of that o was charged for a parking fee that wasn’t even discussed with me. This location isn’t immediately next to a waterpark or anything so why would you charge for parking? Insane!

This is my second time staying here and it’s a great place. This is located in a great area with gas station/restaurant and stores within walking distance. It’s nearby the interstate which is convenient for a quick rest stop. The area is quiet/safe and this hotel is great if traveling with family. They have a refillable water station if you bring your own bottles and breakfast was great with a lot of options.

Friendly staff My daughter’s room had a roach on her pillowcase, she was moved to another room and there were ants in the bathroom. Food has gone down, not the same good variety

My family of 5 stayed here to float the comal river. The room was a perfect size with LOTS of counter space for all our things and great storage for all our luggage so we didn't feel cramped. Our only complaint was the beds were kind of hard, BUT we will totally stay there again next year to go tubing again. The breakfast was delicious as well.

The property was clean, spacious, and well appointed. The staff was very friendly and offered great tips. The breakfast in the morning had great options, the biscuits were fresh and the ability to make egg sandwiches was great. The location is perfect, right by Buc-ee’s and a huge shopping area with several restaurants to choose from. You’re also just a short drive from major attractions and additional restaurants. We would definitely stay here again. You only complain I have about that property is the additional parking charge. I felt that was a little much for standard parking lot, just like any other average hotel. It’s not like it was in a secured facility or covered area. That was a little offputting. I think if I had another option of a hotel of equal value, I may choose that Hotel just to avoid the parking charge, on principal alone.
