Best Western Inn & Suites

After driving for hours, we checked in and were told only separate rooms were available, as the adjoining room guests decided to extend their month-long stay. The clerk (Mary?) lied, stating BW tried to call me, but I didn’t pick up. I explained no one called. Then the story changed to BW only gets a “111” number thru Expedia, so they had “no way” to reach me. Again, this was false as BW could have readily messaged me thru Expedia or piggyback from previous communications (“confirming” the adjoining rooms). I asked for the manager on duty, who was conveniently not there and nameless. Both rooms reeked of mildew. Bathroom doors were flithy. Trash was overflowing in common areas the whole visit. The walkways were not swept. Thus, we opted not to eat the free breakfast given the ick factor. I truly regret spending nearly $500 to stay one night, sleep a total of 4 hours in a rude and dirty hotel. BW refused any refund or discount. Nightmare.

We found a dead roach on our room next to the floor lamp really visible cant believe cleaning crew missed it and also in the tub there was a long bug looked like a dead worm or something long gross

The pool is not up to date or blue. The breakfast was terrible! No elevator and half the rooms are inside and half on the outside with doors. Location isn’t the best as not sure what kind of hotel is next door.

i had to change rooms because as soon as i walked in room 101 i smelled like cigarettes and it is a non smoking room. It smelled like someone was on a 3 day bender it smelled so bad i couldn't believe they were going to allow us to stay in there. The lady was helpful and put us in another room. it did was clean. but def not worth $450 for the weekend. I could of stayed at motel 6.

Unfortunately, the pictures didn't match reality. Our first floor, non-smoking room smelled like smoke and mildew, and the door was so damaged we had to lift it just to close it. The pool was disgusting! Green water, algae everywhere in the hot tub, broken drains, and dirt all over the pool. We were told it was because it had rained, but we own a pool and know this was from weeks of neglect. They moved us to an inside room where it was "safer" (their words), which smelled much better, but it still wasn't clean. We found hair in the shower and toilet and even toenail clippings by the dresser. The only positives were the location and free hot coffee. Breakfast was just okay. I definitely wouldn't stay here again. If you do, at least ask for an INSIDE room.

Hotel is a bit dated and in need of renovations. The staff is warm and welcoming. No issues there at all. The room door was difficult to close. The AC unit was very old and barely functional. Water pressure and temperature for the shower/bath was weak and lukewarm. The breakfast was OK. The pool is not clean. Greenish water. Hot tub is good. Area is not good for walking anywhere and I often went next door to the Hilton to get a drink at the bar/restaurant. It's probably wiser to spend a little extra for a nicer room and hotel when visiting NB. It feels as if the owner of this site is doing everything to save money vs. investing it.

Clean and simple. Just thr basics and that's all we needed.

The room was very nice and clean, the only thing that was not good was the breakfast! I read reviews saying the breakfast was top notch, I was so excited to go eat until I saw the spread nope everything was cold also. But besides that the pool and hot tub were nice as well.

Good quiet hotel as described

Overall it wasn't a bad stay and about what you would expect for the rate. Room was clean enough, no roaches, decent breakfast and the AC worked good. Water pressure was laughable in the shower. It is a motel so you'll deal with that parking lot noise but TV and AC can drowned that out. Mary was the front desk rep that checked us in and she was amazing! So nice and welcoming and just very pleasant to interact with! Overall I knew the gamble I was taking with the rate and I'd say I won that roll of the dice with this place.

No elevator No elevator

Nothing. I was not aware that this was a hotel motel combo. The room was dirty. Bed looked slept in the sheets were wrinkled, there were dirty towels all over the bathroom, and molded chicken bone under the bed. We left as soon as we went into the room and requested a refund. We haven’t heard anything back from the establishment about our refund.

The location was nice close to where we needed to be. The breakfast was exceptional. Very fresh coffee was excellent. The lady that was serving. It was very friendly and really did a great job. Our door on our room was broken and hard to shut. Advertise having a hot tub, but it was broken and that was a reason that we booked it. The value of the room. I have stayed in under $100 a night motels this year that was a lot nicer for value this room was probably worth at the best $90 and it was way over that.
