Homewood Suites By Hilton New Braunfels

This hotel accomplishes the feat of somehow not looking that old and being in absolutely disgraceful state at the same time. The only part of the building that still looks good is the outside. Once you enter, everything is dirty. The lobby, the hall ways, the elevators, and most inconvenient of all, the room was filthy. The whole place smells like there’s a sewer leak. Worn out furniture in the room. Everything is sticky, in the entire building, like nothing has even been cleaned for however long this place has existed. I get it, sometimes hotels get lots of clients and they can wear out some parts of the hotel, but this hotel’s major issue seems avoidable, and it’s just that everything is dirty. Light switches have mystery grime, the floor in the restroom looks like the floor around a urinal at the bottom of the 8th at a Red Sox games, if you get my drift. Not a clean piece of glass in the building. Smudges everywhere. The elevators are atrocious, horrible smell and there’s nothing to do but grin and bare it. Never, EVER staying here again and anyone who read this review, take it as a warning. The pictures do not paint an honest picture of what this hotel is actually like and it needs a lot of work to get back up to snuff. Sure it’s busy, but not because it’s good, only because it’s there. 0/10. Employees were nice, but they condition of the hotel makes one question their dedication to their work.

Property and room was great. Clean. Secure. The soap box in my sink was reused and just closed in a soggy box. The breakfast was hot, many choices. Parking was great, plenty of room. The hallway to get to the room was warm like no ac in that area. But great location, easily accessible.

The room was big compared to all other rooms I looked at. A family of 6 could easily fit in there with no issues. The only thing is that the TV was not working. They said they had Netflix, but nothing would work.

Great place to stay. Will definitely stay here again.

Do not stay at this hotel!!! The carpet throughout is stained, it smells awful. They were out of towels, comforters, and pillows. The bedsheets were stained. I asked for them to be changed and when we came back they had not changed them. The bod wash was also out and asked to be filled which they did not. A rooftop bar was across our room so plan for loud music until 2am. It was the absolute worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

Centered near restaurants & shops, this was the perfect location for my trip. Also, the breakfast is amazing with lots of great hot & cold choices. I love having a full kitchen since I’m on a special diet and this one was well equipped.

Everything was great, staff, amenities, the breakfast-such a wide a variety from breakfast tacos to chia pudding. Location is perfect too!

Check-in was at 3:00 p.m. and we arrived around 3:25 p.m. only to be told our room was not ready. We were assured it would be available in 30 minutes, but it wasn't ready for nearly two hours. After such a long delay, we expected the room to be thoroughly cleaned. Unfortunately, it was not. There was hair in the shower, the countertops, cabinets, and microwave were dirty, and one of the TVs was not working until we fixed it ourselves. On our second day, after spending the day at the river, I called to request fresh towels and was told the hotel had completely run out and none would be available until the next morning. Our room also lacked paper towels and extra toilet paper. In addition, the lobby had a strong sour odor that remained throughout our three day stay. This experience was well below the standard we've come to expect from Homewood Suites. We hope management addresses these issues, as they negatively impact the guest experience. We have always chosen Homewood Suites, but the next time we visit New Braunfels, we will stay elsewhere.

The room and stay were nice. The breakfast was not very good. They need a waffle maker...my kids barely could find something they liked and usually love hotel breakfast. I did like the overnight oats and chia seed pudding.

Clean! Cozy bed! Cold AC! Awesome, helpful staff! Great Breakfast! Convenient location! Suite was the perfect size! Will definitely be back!

Horrible experience

Only 1 pillow for my kids until a day later same with towels. Only 2. The bed wasn't even made properly and no sheet or blanket for my kids. Notified the staff. Nothing had to family get towels pillow blanket at 830 the last night.

every morning we would wake up and have our free breakfast and the kids would get ready, head straight to the pool, and it was always clean. Well maintained, and the staff was so friendly

Room was big and clean. I didn't use any of the amenities since I was only there one night but it was perfect for a short trip.

The breakfast was enjoyable and we liked the room amenities. The staff was courteous and friendly. Check-in/out was easy. But, the hotel itself feels old and needs a good cleaning/updating. The room and hall carpets smelled musty, our blanket had stains on it, the furniture had heavy scuff marks on it, there were stains in the bathroom that just made it feel grungy and unclean. The price was good, but I'd probably take my chances with a different hotel next time.

The room was great staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean. I would definitely stay there again.

We arrived at 1am to a door that wouldn’t open with the card and the best they could do was tell us to call Expedia for a refund.

Room was great. Staff was very nice. The breakfast was over the top.
