Studio 6 New Braunfels, TX

I will not stay there again, it is too hard to access!!! The staff was helpful, but the amenities were not up to par!!

Room was clean but poor lighting. Smelled cigarette smoke in elevator and hall. Vending machines were not working.

I saw one roach

When we first got there I used the restroom and there was already a roach I had to kill. Then when we were going to take showers there was a used little towel in the shower. I was so grossed out

Lots of roaches

The front desk lady was rude. We had 3 guests and no towels in the room. When I asked for towels she gave me 3 and said that’s all I could have. I asked for additional towels she said “ I personally checked that room yesterday and it had four towels in it.” as if it was my fault that there were no towels in the room. She acted like I wanted to steal her flimsy towels. There was a huge cockroach in the room when we arrived. The building is not maintained. There was rust around the bathroom doorframe. The shower floor was not level. The remote control back was broken and would not stay on the remote. The overbed lights did not work. The next day when I went to get new towels, she said that I could bring the dirty towels and exchange them. Why is it my place to bring the dirty towels? Why doesn’t housekeeping pick up the dirty towels and replace them? I asked her one of my room wasn’t cleaned. She said they only cleaned the room every three days. I never heard of such a thing. I generally do not have any problems at the motel/studio 6. But this place was absolutely horrible.

This hotel was scary movie scary. Felt unsafe in area. Didn’t even stay found another hotel.

There was an incident where police had property surrounded

nothing to like about the service and room room had Cockroach / prostituion going on / hallway smelled like marijuana / after complaining to the front desk and requested a refund / the person just didnt care and told i will not get a refund

Room smelled like mildew and was damp all night. Banging noise all night that kept me up all night

Properties in a really good central location of new Braunfels. Property also had very nice staff. Definitely room cleanliness was not the best and and definitely a roach issue. There were tons of bugs.

Property is in a good central location of new Braunfels. And it was very easy access the rooms on the side and ground level. Property was a little bit dirty, and I don’t know how new and construction it really is. Also, there was quite a bit of roaches. And bugs in the room. And shower didn’t look like it was very clean.

The AC worked great. No internet. TV did not work at all. No shampoo or soap. No blow dryer. Only 1 blow dryer between 2 properties.

I liked that the room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. Overall, I liked the room. The room was in another building from where I checked in. When I went to the other building, the door was locked. I had to look for other open doors to gain access to the building.

Arriving to the property at night the front and the side buildings were fully lit with lights. however, they told us that our room was in the back of the side building. When we got there it was dark. There were no lights on the building and no porch lights working. Upon entering our room we noticed that we did not receive the correct room we booked when I went to talk to the front desk they looked up my confirmation and said there was nothing they could do. When I asked why they couldn’t make any accommodations the lady at the front said they were sold out of the room I booked for. She did not apologize or offer any resolution. After going back to our room to analyze, we noticed there was brown stuff on the walls on the bathroom, and the shower rod was barely hanging onto the sheet rock, causing the shower curtain to dip down and only be able to sit in the middle of the rod and when showering water seeped out all over the floor. The rest of the room itself wasn’t too bad but the other issue I had was being on the first floor. You can hear everything upstairs from banging, stomping, moving the furniture and also the front doors are metal so you can hear when they open and close. So this means you can hear everything at all hours of the night. This is also a pet friendly motel, unfortunately people do not pick up after their pets, and all of the rest areas were full of dog feces. This was a waste of money and I wish I had booked the insurance to get some of my money back
