La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham New Cumberland-Harrisburg

Why would you operate a hotel and not even bother to cut the grass. From the outside it looked abandoned. Complement breakfast was a bun and cereal. and of course coffee. Room was clean but not a place i would recommend

Because the door wouldn't open. We were also told upon check in that there would be no hot breakfast and we couldn't swim. Lastly, when we asked for more towels they were delivered to out room damp. This was not a good experience. They said they were remodeling and almost done but it did not show.

The property is not being taken care of. Grass and weeds over 10" Weeds coming up through the drain crates outside. A sink hole opened up at the entrance. We had to take our dog across the main road to an area that was mowed to potty her. No pool! No breakfast - other than retail muffins... The rooms need to be cleaned better and we lost WIFI Saturday evening - so no pc, tv, etc. Will not stay at this property in the future and none of our other members will be staying either. All ready looking for another facility. Felt sorry for the staff, since this is what they have to work with.

There is no hot breakfast. Very limited items that too packaged ones. The room is smelling like a mold

There was no breakfast as advertised, and the outside grounds weren’t maintained. Staff was helpful and friendly.

I can’t even explain what is terrible about this place. I am lost for words!

Only had one pillow per bed when we first got our room; had to get more at front desk and he had to go upstairs to get that. I also had to go back once ready for my shower because no bag in the closest for dirty clothes nor a hairdryer were in the room. only cereal muffin coffee and juice for breakfast, (he did tell us before we stayed but I’d already prepaid and wasn’t refundable) poorly maintained building with visible repairs and cracks needed everywhere. Not a typical stay at LaQuinta.

It’s a dingy messy place. Even in the parking lot, the grounds are unkept. The weeds are 3 feet high. The place is just in my opinion a dirty dump. The staff was nice, but that was the only good thing.

Previous guest left used pod in coffee maker and was still there when we arrived.

nothing matches the description you are better off at a motel.

The floor of my room was ticky. The shower tray was very shallow and easy overflow, and no shampoo and conditioner. The breakfast was not served.

The place is pretty run down and in need of repairs. Told us when we got there that the breakfast area was under reno so not hot breakfast and the pool was closed for repairs. It was 84 degrees in the hallway! Not the best experience.

Arrived early and staffed cleaned a room for us. Staff were very nice. Apparently they don’t have cleaning staff every day. Breakfast was dry cereal and muffins, coffee and juice so if you have any food allergies or want anything hot, plan accordingly. Also, they ran out of coffee each morning, some days they made more and some days they didn’t. We were there 6 days and the room was cleaned once. There was a musty smell from the air conditioner. No vacuuming of the hallways so crumbs and trash down the hall. Landscaping hasn’t been done for a while either so the place looks run down, inside and out. Also, there was a soft spot in the floor of our room that made it feel like we were going to fall through the floor and a nail sticking up in another part of the floor. They use really strong smelling chemicals on the floor that make the floor sticky and burned my throat. When I looked Expedia gave this 8/10, rating has gone down since. I feel like this COULD be a decent place but it is not right now.

Not the most pleasant stay

A/C worked well. Everything else was sub par. Room smoke detector hanging from wall, hairs on bedspread, mini fridge wobbly and leaking, overall hotel was poorly maintained. La Quinta has usually been a nice hotel chain for me…not anymore. Breakfast was terrible. Cold coffee, limited to packaged muffins and again not kept very clean. No longer consider La Quinta a go to hotel.

Checked in and the room I reserved wasn't available. Got a room with 2 doubles instead. Room was fairly clean but common areas were not. Also some strange man slept in the lobby and sat there days. He ate the food for breakfast which wasnt much, and watched their tv.

Location is great. But I don't care for cockroaches in my room. The shampoos, Conditioner, soap and body wash dispensers are terrible. This location was under renovation.

I chose this particular hotel over the others because of the pool, but it was not in operation.

Staff was nice
