Magnuson Grand Harrisburg

I arrived at the property but decided not to stay because the environment was not what I was looking for. I spoke with the person at the front desk, explained the situation, and was told that it was okay to leave and that I could request a refund if I felt the property was not suitable for me. I was asked to cancel my reservation through Expedia, which I did. Afterward, Expedia tried several times to contact the property regarding the situation, but I was told they were unable to reach them. I also did not receive the refund I was expecting. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would personally choose a different hotel if I were visiting the Harrisburg area again.

This hotel is a great place to stay. You don’t even have to leave the premises to have a good time. They have a comedy club, bar and restaurant and at night it turns into a dance club. The staff was wonderful and helpful. We will definitely book here again in the future.

This was an experience! Nowhere was it listed that this hotel is in a nightclub. Very hard to find as there was no signage. I only found it by asking the hotel next door. You have to enter the nightclub and ask where to check in. They take you down a storage hallway to a check in desk. They also had a check in time ending at 9:00 pm which you had to find in the fine print. I got lucky that the woman was still there. The music was incredibly loud and we could still hear it a bit at the other end of the hallway until nearly 2:00 am. I can’t imagine how loud it was closer to the club. The room was okay. Nothing special especially for over $140. and putting up with the drunks on the sidewalk making comments.

The outside property is very unappealing where I almost went somewhere else but I booked it through a third party app. I went inside to check it out and I was amazed by how nice and clean it was all the way down to my room. Don't judge a book by its cover on this one and I would definitely stay here again

AVOID THIS HOTEL IF YOU ARE TRAVELING WITH CHILDREN

Not a 4 star hotel but clean and comfortable enough. We were in a no smoking room that had been smoked in heavily. The bar and restaurant are handy but it's a heavily attended comedy club. The parking was almost full on Saturday night and very noisy when club closed down at 1 or 1:30 am. So... 4 stars for a 3 star motel.

This place was an unexpected gem! Baecation on a budget! Very reasonably priced room, fantastic restaurant and fun bar! Friendly staff as well!

The comedy venue on site and restaurant are very convenient!

I booked as room for a queen bed and pretty sure it was only a full. The shower was slow draining. There wasn't great communication about the events that was being held. Overall stay was ok. Nothing to call home about. All employees we encountered were very friendly however.

Very well kept for it's age, Boomerangs was great. Great food at great prices. Only thing missing was a pool.

If you like to party and not travel so far this is the place for you. They have DJ nights every Friday and Saturday on the outside patio.Game room for the kids or kids at heart. Everything in one spot. Will definitely go back again.

Saw some bugs crawling around in room. Very loud live music till 2:00 in the morning. Could not talk to anybody to checkout.

Clean room. Parking wasn't the easiest, and no one was present in the morning. Need to prepare water and everything on my own. Also, it was loud by the bar on a Friday night.

Nice place to stay. I already booked for next time.
