Staff were all very welcoming and friendly. Nothing to not like

The room was very clean. The staff was great.

Best place I’ve stayed so far! You do have to pay 26$ for parking but other then that it’s solid all around 100% would book again
-
Convenient location; safe parking, clean room, friendly staff Very limited staff (1 person) when I tried to order breakfast. There was a party of 12 people and two other couples plus myself wanting breakfast. When the waiter came to me to place my order, they advised it would be an hour wait.

This hotel is excellent! The room was very well appointed and quite comfortable! The food was amazing as well!

Rooms good, breakfast reasonable Location a bit far from restaurants etc

the room was clean except there was no body wash in the refillable dispensers. we had to ask for it at the front desk. we also mentioned that the sliding “barn door” of the bathroom was hard to close and needed to be greased. they said they would send maintenance but never did. on the day of check out the wallpaper completely unraveled.

I don't know of any traveler who likes to walk into a hotel after a long day of travelling, and have the front desk say you can't check in until...whatever time. 3:00PM or 4:00PM. But if the hotel is sold out, and rooms are fully booked, it's just not possible sometimes if guests check out late, and the rooms haven't been turned, And if you have a special request on top of that? Good luck. I have to say, the front desk staff was outstanding, every single person I had the pleasure of meeting during my 8 day stay. A very special thank you to front desk manager Katara Thorton, who went above and beyond to honor my special request and make things easy for me. It was just so thoughtful and considerate. Made our stay. Everything about the hotel is great. We had a terrific stay. Thank you!!

Very clean and modern hotel. The gym was extremely spacious with excellent equipment options. The property felt very new. The staff was extremely unwelcoming and borderline rude. I interacted with three separate front desk agents. None of them should be in hospitality. They preferred to frown at the computer than smile or make eye contact with the guests. They led with "no" every time. I have been in the hospitality business for 25 years and I believe every guest facing experience should include a smile and a show of warmth. I really enjoyed the property but due to the staff I would not stay here again. It pains me to write this (I never write bad reviews - I can always find the good in every experience) but this was a disappointing experience and as someone who loved the hospitality industry so passionately, I was sad to see this hotel miss the mark.

It’s functional and convenient if you have work at Yale and in the area.

At the end of a month long visit of colleges on the east coast. Stayed in many hotels along the way. Cambria New Haven was a wonderful way to end our trip. Absolutely the best front desk experience with outstanding customer service and genuine care and concern for our comfort and convenience. Very clean front lobby, modern and new. Rooms were roomy and comfortable.

It’s a solid place to stay at for a base point to travel around the area. It helps to get a car for traveling though as transit is non-existent around there.
-
Excellent hotel. New and well maintained. Breakfast good and "real food" - omelets, pancakes etc. Luticia (sp?) - the waitress at breakfast was really very nice. Highly recommended place.
-
Delicious food options for breakfast. Parking was a tad confusing in the structure Nextdoor. Nice quiet facility though.

Gym, location, clean Nothing except paid parking

Very good

Hotel is new, well decorated, beds are comfy and the location is great. Close to Yale and Yale hospitals. Booked roll in shower, the bathroom was not handicapped accessible, shower was not roll in.

The only way to get a coffee in the lobby is to order it from the waitress and pay $4 for a small paper cup (size of Starbucks ‘tall’). Please think of the moms and early risers who can’t be making coffee in their room lest they wake their sleeping travel companions or family! Literally every hotel at this level has complimentary coffee I don’t know why this one doesn’t. Staff were uneven. When I ordered my $4 coffee I had to listen to the waitress complain about people getting upset for being charged for coffee. She ended up being very sweet but was intimidating at first. Same with the front desk staff - could be really sweet… or be scowling at you. I was hesitant to ask one front desk staff member for help because she was so unsmiling and unwelcoming. She ended up being helpful though. Maybe this is just the New Haven way… Finally, for those with larger vehicles — the entrance to their parking lot is tight!
