Great location rite in front of the street car stop with a park next door. The staff was friendly shoutout to the guy at the front desk didn’t catch his name but he recommend a local food spot and made sure I was very well accommodated.

The hall ways smelled of smoke. The room way fine, but the bed cover had a stain on it. The air conditioning was so loud it was hard to sleep.

It’s so sad when it’s hot outside you think you’re bout to take a shower and the water don’t run and then when you ask them, do they have a plumbing issues they act like they’re all confused. I don’t know what’s going on. You turn on the water, the water makes a knocking sound and you can’t even take a shower so then they come and fix it and then all of a sudden it’s raining in your room that’s crazy you get changed from run room to the next to have the same issue who wants to stay in a room where you can’t take a hot shower that is so disgusting

Smoke smell not as listed smoke free and not I expected

The room was smelly. It’s not like wet carpet. It was not clean. The bathroom was not clean the tub wasn’t clean. The sink was not clean. The room smelled again. The bed was smelly and the hot water was not working the air-conditioning. It was smelly also. That is just a horrible place needs to be torn down and gutted out from the entrance when you walk in the smell is unbearable.

It was fly

The room was tiny, the bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. The shower also had almost no water pressure. Was not worth the price, the only thing going for it is the location. Our room key also didnt work 1 out of every 2 tries.

Walking distance to Bourbon Street. Perfect location
-
The property and room was tidy! The host was very thorough and provided all needed amenities.
-
Could have been cleaner and room service never showed during the stay

Aight in a pinch, bar closes too early

Room was fine. Its an older hotel but that is part of the charm. When you are in New Orleans, are you really spending a lot of time in a room anyway? Beds were comfortable, shoer was hot, absolutely great for the price.

The Blake was centrally located for all the activities we wanted to see and also very convenient for the city tour bus line.

Based on the reviews and photos I had high hopes. Unfortunately I was tricked by good photography angles. The check in was unremarkable, which is better than bad at least. The elevator was concerning and we were greeted by a dated (not in a historically cute kinda way) halls and peeling wallpaper. Upon entering the room the Temu beds, barely draining shower with dirt in it, sketchy electrical outlets and moldy windows were what we found. We took a trip to the gym which was hot, also electrically sketchy, and provided cloudy water. Most of the evening I could hear noises that made me mildly concerned we would have someone stumble in, if not the walls. Mind you we stayed just up the road with an equally old building and exceptionally better care. I was just greatly disappointed. Parking was good though! Definitely a budget stay with a budget environment.

However, the lack of hot water is a negative for me. The shower in the morning with warm water is tolerable, but not what I was hoping for. Also, while this trip I was allowed to use Valet Parking for my car (my first trip they said they didn't do that anymore), when I checked out I was told I had to walk a block-and-a-half to get my car myself because the street in front of the hotel was closed for an event.

We had dirty towels with hair all over . The restroom floor was dirty and the sheets from the beds also had hair and steins . No room service when we asked for clean towels they didn’t help us. The only thing we liked was the location .

It was close to the superdome. . . Thats all I got
