Room was clean Restaurant was wonderful

We were not informed prior to arrival of issues with the suites. We had paid in advance and insured our stay. We should have been offered a suite in a different Hilton in NEW ORLEANS. IT DEFINITELY NEEDS RENOVATION TO MEET HILTON STANDARDS A verry poor performance and it receives a 4.

The lighting for the bathroom mirrors generates a red hue and is not good for applying makeup

The good: location, property was clean. Luke restaurant is EXCELLENT. The bad: the water was turned off for one full day without any notice to us even though it was a planned outage. Had to use the in room bottled water to rinse the soap off when the water went off. Manager said they should’ve told us upon check in but offered no real compensatory apology like a credit. I asked that they replace the bottles of water that I used and she agreed, but never sent them up. We asked for an extra blanket for my daughter and 45 min later, they bring an extra sheet and said they have no blankets… I doubt that. Day 2 - we were awakened early by a jackhammer on the floor above us. Yes, a jackhammer. Apparently they were doing renovations… We would be out most of the day so it was bearable. At this point I asked for a credit. What they offered was a joke… $50. I told them it wasn’t enough but they wouldn’t offer anything else. Again that night I asked for a blanket. 3 hours later, I still didn’t have one. I had to go stand at the front desk and not leave until they brought one. Not what I’ve come to expect from Hilton. Do yourself a favor and choose better than I did. But DO go to Luke. It doesn’t disappoint.

Clean room, staff
-
The front desk staff was very polite, respectful and attentive. The bathroom had silver fish and the shampoo, and soap dispensers were completely empty. Every day I had to request towels and washcloths 3 to 4 times before I received them. Front desk personal was very understanding and put in a complaint they said. The floor in the bathroom was weak and I thought it was gonna break from the noise it made. The water pressure was awful in the showet.

Very nice staff, clean rooms, just wish they had better amenities, especially since you’re paying for them.

Clean room, food availability, and great location
-
The rooms are on the smaller side and beds are double beds but they are clean. The only issue we really had was getting towels. We had to call down 3 times first call was around 9am and we didn’t end up getting towels until closer to 11pm that night. We went down to try to get some but was told they needed to bring them to the room. Employees were nice.
