I didn’t realize the toilet was just open in the room and there wasn’t a separate bathroom. I also didn’t see that the shower was outside.
-
Really liked the whole thing including the area in the very back where the hot tub is.

Despite maybe feeling cooped up …AT FIRST, i then realized it was the most coziest and appropriate place for some one such as me who may have one guest but then again may have six guests, unto which this location i can candidly say could handle it all with ease, and that’s without even mentioning the staffs reliability and ability to negotiate. 10/10 nothing i loved their so called experience they created for us.

Friendly staff- Complimented our dogs so of course we liked everyone. Fun rooms!! Its hard to choose which one to stay in. Beautiful house and grounds. I loved all the plants - both real and fake. The place it so quirky. 100% private room in hostel vibes. Reminded me of places I stayed in Central America. Self check in was smooth and all instructions were clear. Had no question on how to get around the grounds. The Red Room was really cool and the shower lots of fun. Considering it's adults only the hot tub area closing at night was disappointing. Too hot during the day (May) and closed by the time you make it back from dinner :( The kitchen being right next to the Red Room was a bit awkward. I'm glad I realized you can hear people in the Red Room from the kitchen. So we had to be extra quiet. The TV in the Red Room shower needs removed. It doesn't work and it looks... bad. I booked the Red Room vs another for the shower (and TV in the shower because that's cool). Was kinda unhappy about that.

It’s the best hotel that’s clean, well decorated, and affordable. I wouldn’t recommend any other hotel. Nothing

Janis was a wonderful host. She was so sweet and knows the city very well. She made sure we had everything we needed and made sure we knew where everything was. ? will return!!!

I enjoyed the amenities and the cozy atmosphere. Everything I needed was at my stay and the value was excellent. I cannot think of a single thing I did not like about Fleur De Lis Mansion!

Fun little property located in walkable distance to the WWII museum, Lafayette Square, good restaurants and bars. Property was clean and offered many amenities like outdoor seating areas, BBQ grills, hot tub etc. The house kitchen is available for use and they are now starting to make bagels and english muffins available at breakfast which was appreciated. If you stay in the Champagne Room, shower with the lights off for a bit of fun. I’m guessing there are other fun surprises in the different themed rooms. We had a little difficulty with the various entry codes sent to us but that was quickly sorted out with lightning response from property management.

Location was great and it was quiet. The hotel was close to several good restaurants. A/C unit wasn’t working that well but fortunately it wasn’t too hot. The window above the door allowed too much light into the room. Needs some blackout curtains above the door.

The location was great, property is breathtaking and very clean. We loved the pool area. Especial kudos to the staff who went above and beyond to help me locate my Kindle I was afraid I lost there. We messaged them after we left, and they did a thorough search for it. Much appreciated!

Close to everything, safe too! No water bottles / drinking water on the property, had to stock up at the gas station

Slightly spooky especially getting there at 10 at night. Exactly the experience I look for when I visit here. The directions to enter and get to the room were SLIGHT confusing, but other than that, it was great.

The atmosphere was cozy and home like. The jacuzzi space and natural growing fruit trees are my favorite. Also the attendants were warm welcoming and helpful. I love people with character and they exude character that fits in well with the new orleans experience ❤️ The bed was a bit firm for my liking.

The only thing is that both bathrooms were upstairs which is difficult for disabled person (challenging). Overall excellent place to stay!!!
