Parking was an absolute nightmare- waited over an hour in line for valet which was $50. The valet staff is so understaffed, I felt for them- they even had a hotel engineer help park cars for a bit. There was also a roach in the room but after waiting that long for valet I spent the night. It’s across the street from the convention center, not far from the French Quarter but I would not recommend.

I was given the wrong room and the room I booked was sold out so I had to get a downgraded room for my stay. The room provided was small and would not accommodate me and my family sufficiently. The curtain in the room also had a big stain on it. The guest service attendant did assist me with the closest accommodation to what I booked for the inconvenience as well as complimentary valet.

The hotel itself was great for what my family needed, 1 night pit stop during a road trip. The hotel is walking distance to many restaurants and the mall. The issue we had was it took an hour and a half to get our car out of valet, after calling down for it 30 minutes before we needed it, which meant we were late to something we had booked and I had to pay extra to get moved to a different booking. I didnt realize that this hotel is directly across from a Carnival Cruise pick up/drop off, which meant everyone was trying to leave at the same time (I assume.) Also there was only 1 person working valet and cars were parked blocks away which meant each car took a while for this 1 valet person to retrieve.

It is close to I-10, in walking distance to the Convention Center, the Riverwalk, and a walk to Canal St. If you are goo on a cruise or just to visit, it is an excellent spot. There is valet parking. One thing to know is that it is located on a narrow one way adjacent to Convention Center. Breakfast included and there is a pool and a park across the street.

Room was more spacious than expected. Nice and clean room and bedding. Great location as well.

Breakfast was fantastic! Walking distance from just about anything if you’re up for up to a mile walk or so.

I loved the room size and the high ceilings...

The hotel is nice, clean, and well maintained. Unfortunately, we were assigned a very small room with two beds for our family of five due to a booking error by Expedia, which they acknowledged and took responsibility for. While we understand the mistake was not the hotel’s fault, we were disappointed by how the staff handled the situation. Instead of trying to help us find a solution, they made us feel as though we had done something wrong by booking through a third-party site. A little more empathy and willingness to assist would have made a big difference in our experience.

No complaints, great stay, great facilities
-
The hotel was okay, it is very old and needs major upgrades. The pool area was horrible it needs a total renovation.
-
The room was very spacious very clean and very cozy. The bathroom was huge with a very deep and long Jacuzzi tub refrigerator, wet bar, huge king bed with the couch that pulls out. I would definitely stay here again next time in town. The staff was very helpful and courteous.

Room air could have been colder but it was late June in south Louisiana.

Stayed here the night before a cruise. About a 5 to 7 minute walk to where you drop off luggage for the cruise. Clean and a good breakfast buffet

Nice Service
-
Excellent rooms, clean, convenient to cruise ports. Polite staff.
-
Clean very large suites. Conveniently placed for cruising. Excellent condition and pleasant staff.
-
Be aware to pack your patience if you use valet service and they add tax like 5 extra dollars. The hotel was very nice the only complaint I have was the staff could’ve been more helpful ( friendly) when asked questions.
