This is the best stay ever. High ceilings as well and spacious.

Great little spot. Will definitely come back again

The building looked vacant and no staff. Website shows another hotel across the street. Furniture was awful. Left right after check in and went to another hotel.

The loft rooms were big and beautiful. One thing i didn’t like is everything like bar and restaurant was at the sister hotel around the corner . And if you want parking with them it is all done at sister hotel. One upgrade all the rooms needed was to put mini fridge and microwave in the rooms . These are a necessity when traveling. On the good side the syaff was very friendly , very helpful. I would definitely stay again .

The bed was very comfortable, front desk staff were helpful, and I LOVED the artwork in the lobby!

But overall nice place
-
Good location They had massive water leak coming out the light fixtures right outside my room
-
Location & aesthetics was great also loved the patio. The shower flooded the entire bathroom into the bedroom .. i PAID for late check out & the staff still came in TWICE and called me .. those things should be communicated
-
Lack of any catering facilities Low water pressure Lack of flexibility for the light switches

The property has many cool looking features about it. It's a great renovation of the space, and the rooms look very cool. We had a deck which was a nice feature, but the furniture on it was in rough shape, our tv had been damaged so basically unusable, the door did not open/close well so you had to slam it with your shoulder, and the toilet refill mechanism made a constant filling noise and needed replacement. The staff were very nice and helpful, but clearly some issues need tending to.

The shower and A/C could have been more effective but overall, the stay was wonderful! The hotel and room was clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Nice quiet and was walking distance from everything in the CBD I’m a local and I loved it for a quick little get away. The tub was the true staining star. Love the huge mirror and studio lights

Pay the same or less and stay somewhere nicer. First, the room I booked was NOT what was pictured. Looked nothing like it. Every room advertises a pic of a big bathtub in their listing but ours didn't come with one even though that was the main reason I booked it. The bathroom was pretty gross. It had this gross black stuff all over the mirrors. Half the towels were stained. And the shower head was trash. It also takes forever to get hot water. The room has a mini fridge but no microwave. The floors are broken concrete. You can't roll the window shades to look out which is fine because the "city view" is an alley with a dumpster. The mattress was hard as a rock. The tiny tv they have in the rooms are one the side of the bed instead of in front of it. Literally the ONLY good thing were the pillows. They were fluffy. I tried reaching out to staff 3 times during our 2 night stay and got nothing. And there's no staff there the majority of the time so no one to speak to directly. I was so excited for our stay based off the pictures but pretty much all of it were pictures of their main hotel. This hotel is the side chick/great value version of the main hotel. It was also advertised that you get $130 in tour credits with your reservation and that's not true. We never received anything and when I reached out about it all I got was crickets. Me and my husband were so disappointed. We love visiting New Orleans & this trip was to celebrate our anniversary so it was a huge let down.

First Pros: location, clean and spacious room. Cons: Check-in instructions were missing from Hotels.com (screenshot available). The hotel's front door was locked and no one was in the lobby. Check-in instructions would have stated check-in is 1/2 block away at another hotel. The staff did not answer the phone after repeated calls for assistance. Another guest leaving Loft 523 told us where we needed to go for help. 2nd issue - assigned room 1: no window coverings for privacy or to darken the room for sleep. They moved us to another room. 3rd issue: 2nd room had window covering for privacy, but did not block the street light at night nor the morning light at 6am. 4th issue: 2nd room's shower and tub both needed repair. The shower heads came out as a mist with no downward direction (clogged). Upon check-out, I advised the front desk clerk to have maintenance attend to the bathroom issues. We dealt with the inconvenience as we did not want to move to a 3rd room (assuming one was available)

The noise from the street—beeping garbage trucks early in the morning, incessant car honking, late night drunkards yelling and cursing—all conspire to keep you from getting a restful sleep. The room bizarrely only had sheer curtains which not only prevented privacy , but also contributed to lack of sleep.

There was absolutely no staff in the hotel. Literally no one. You have to check in at another building. Smells stale and no ac in the hallways. There’s only 2 temperatures of water. Boiling or ice. I hope you have 2 hours to wait to fill the beautiful tub. I was able to find a bottle of wine behind the empty bar so that’s a plus. Either use the complimentary slippers or make sure you have your life alert ready when you fall in the bathroom because there will be no one to hear your yelling for help. The only two things you can watch on the TV from the 80s was old reruns of Soap and infomercials. Def not worth what I paid.

The room was very spacious and clean. There was no dedicated staff at the location, but the staff from the International House hotel took care of everything seamlessly.
