Omni Royal Orleans Hotel

Location was great to go in and out of sight seeing attractions but thats is. Parking is $50 per day separate charge, carpet in the room is terribly dirty. Staff were kind and helpful when I need help but thats all. This hotel needs some serious upgrades especially bathroom.

The room was very outdated and there was no closet or drawer space to keep my clothes. The check in doesn’t take Apple Pay which is unheard of in 2026. Great property but poor management.

The property was beautiful if you like vintage. The room, in our opinion was too small and the vents were visibly dusty like they had not been cleaned in a very long time. We woke up with bad allergies I believe it was due to lack of ventilation. As soon as we went outside our symptoms started to subside. There was also a discrepancy in the pool hours listed online and at the pool entrance. I was told the next morning that the pool did not open until 9am, after speaking with the desk supervisor they had someone open the pool.

Rooms very small, courtyard really nice, front door staff super helpful however the front desk subpar. check the hours for breakfast and bar before getting your hopes up. During my staff water was shut off notice was given but it wasn't acceptable middle of the summer with heat advisors in the area came in sticky and hot and couldn't take a shower use the toilet nothing "wow" I should be credit for that, NO water No air conditioner. beside that my entire stay was next to an ice maker so I could hear that running and falling ice all night. Never again

This place was INCREDIBLE. The pool was amazing and the views for fantastic. We got the room with the balcony and loves it so so much. However, I would have given this place 5 stars if it wasn’t for the construction in the room literally right above us. And I totally get that they are maintaining this fantastic building but when it started at 7 am I was a little upset.

Difficult to find parking area, but once I did, check in process was easy. Great location

From the valet, bellhop front desk and housekeeping this staff was so friendly! Hotel is absolutely beautiful!

Lots of remodeling going on. New pool area was really nice! New Jazz bar & lounge with entertainment which was great. Not crazy with the terrible powdered eggs on breakfast buffet. This was only terrible thing I found other than the bread pudding which gets an awful rating in comparison to others in the French Quarter. Will at the Rib room bar was extremely nice and attentive to ones needs in the beverage department. Overall...no other complaints.

Great location right in the heart of the Quarter. Convenient walk to the Central Business District. This is my favorite hotel to stay at when I have business in New Orleans.

Great location. Friendly staff. We froze in room all weekend (very uncomfortable). Whether we put thermostat all the way up or turned off had no effect. Ask front desk at check out, and they said a/c centrally controlled. Thermostat in room did nothing. Other than that, all fine

I always have a great time. The staff is fantastic. The hotel is perfectly situated in the French Quarter, near everything. This Hotel is one of the Grand Dames in New Orleans where you will get a true New Orleans experience.

Everyone who worked there was outgoing, happy to be there, and made me feel welcomed. The spacious bar was convenient and I comfortably chatted with other people staying there enjoying some quiet time. There is a restaurant on site, but I did not have the chance to go to it. The good sized pool complex on the top floor has a total resort layout with excellent views.

What an amazing experience! Staff were curtious, helpful and attentive. It's a beautifully historic hotel with breathtaking details all while having modern amenities; yet pays homage to traditional New Orleans class.

Room was a little small but considering the time period it was built, it worked...the hotel room door a little heavy so didnt need a gym...Staff was great and friendly and very helpful...in room amenities were great...a kuerig, fridge and safe all furnished ....loved the hotel ..especially with the French Quarter right outside...Overall The Omni was a great place to stay....

That being said, the staff was amazing from the delightful greeting from the Bell Captain, to our amazing concierge who suggested fantastic restaurants (2 for2 as aplus) To our amazing day manager who not only gave a heartfelt apology but took care of us above and far beyond to make things better. It was my wife’s birthday and she had lovely time. The guys in valet were also extremely friendly and helpful. Overall the best stay we have had in NewOrleans. Stay for the staff they make it great

Incredible staff from bellman to restaurant. I travel quite a bit and would guarantee 💯 you will not be disappointed. Not only is everything a 5 min walk but with the amenities Omni has available you dont even need to leave the property.

The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly, but my room was smaller than I thought it was going to be. I got a court side room so I could have a few but the room was really small and the bathroom was small. My AC didn’t work really good in my room I was on the second floor.

My husband and I came down from NY for our anniversary and had a wonderful time in NOLA. The hotel room and property were well kept. I enjoyed the pool deck on the 7th floor and the observation deck as well where we were able to get a good view of the river and the city. The hotel has a gorgeous entrance & stylish decor. The downside is, we never got the chance to dine at the hotel restaurant but the menu looked appetizing. The hotel is in the heart of the French Quarters and walking distance from everything. It is really a convenient location. We were just steps away from Bourbon & Royal street where most of the action and entertainment were located. We were also a few blocks from the pier, and took a Jazz dinner cruise on the Natchez river Steamboat. We definitely would stay at the Omni again.
