Bienville House

The pool was unused by many guests including me because it looked like it was nothing was done to it since the Hotel opened. It Was not touched by staff as far as I know of and I Would have stayed in my initial Hotel which was the Sheraton. Very Disappointing

The only con for the two standard rooms I reserved is that they didn’t have a window!!

Loved the feel of this place, character and beauty and the embodiment of New Orleans, including a specter in our 4th floor room.

Pretty quiet at night. Staffs are very friendly and easy to talk to.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff, especially the front desk staff, were extremely accommodating to our myriad requests. The hotel itself is a solidly 4 star facility with an antique / shabby chic vibe that perfectly matches the city it resides in. The hotel however is thankfully run much more efficiently than the city it resides in. Many Michelin worthy restaurants within walking distance.

Our room was very hot from the moment we arrived. The lady at the front desk when we arrived and departed was not very helpful, but they other days the staff was amazing.

Our stay was upsetting. We have stayed in the past and had a great experience, but during this stay the staff were smoking at the valet counter, failed to clean the room when requested, and we were unable to receive towels. When leaving it took over an hour to receive the car from valet parking. Some of the staff were really nice and helpful. But this was hit or miss. It seems like the hotel is under different management than on our last stay. We had 4 in our room and were set up with three towels and had to request an extra towel every day. We were told that’s how the rooms were set up. We went with multiple families and all had towel issues. It’s like the staff were set up to fail.

The room was very dirty the bathroom mirror was absolutely dirty so was the shower as well, and the towels were stained … but it was a nice room and good area to stay in

We loved the location and hospitality! The hotel is beautiful!

We loved our room. It had everything we needed and was incredibly spacious for just my husband and I. We had a balcony that overlooked the courtyard and our windows had a view of the river. This is a historic property but it was so well maintained. There was no noise from the neighbors and the bed was so comfy. One thing to be aware of is the steamboat whistles that took us by surprise because they were so loud. Bienville was just outside of all the hustle and bustle but, everything is within walking distance.

This was an mazing property and very cool. The beds were also extremely comfortable.

Beautiful hotel, staff was kind but stressed out (it didn’t seem like there were enough working). Charming little pool was perfect. Checkout was unpleasant as I was told I could not get a cup of free water since it was not yet 7am (although the water was prepared and out).

Perfect location walking distance to most sites and sounds. Nice and quiet facility with excellent "sister hotel" swimming pool nearby.

AC did not work in the room. Carpet in room was very frayed. Towel rack in bathroom was falling off. Beds are very small. Television did not work properly. Only one small elevator that held six people, only 2-3 people if they had a bag. Elevator was approx. 85 degrees inside. Waited almost one and a half hours for my car to be brought from the Montleone hotel when I was checking out. Extra hold for $24.66 on my credit card showed up at 2:00am the first night which the manager could not explain. The pending amounts are still shown on my credit card two days after checking out. I will never stay at this hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Pool was absolutely amazing. Great room options. We got the room with a sun deck. 10/10

This place is beautiful and the staff is amazing. I stayed in the king suit saloon with a private balcony and it was amazing. Great decor and location. I wish I could retire here. Can’t wait to come back.

The hotel staff was awesome and Ms. Cynthia was extremely helpful along with the other staff. Everything was good with the room with the exception of the slanted floors . Bed was comfortable and surprisingly noise level was low. The last night there was an issue with the electricity no fault of the hotel however we was out of electricity from about 11p.m to 6 a.m the next day. Other than that everything went well. I recommend this hotel if you want to be close to everything but still have peace and quiet and the staff is great!
