I love the historical building. The best thing is that it is unique and nothing like the chain hotels. It was difficult getting my luggage to the third floor.

The area. The pictures were very deceiving.

The location is in a wonderful place and anyone would be entertained 24/7. There are no elevator and if you have large heavy suitcases, this could be a challenge.

The decor was fun. The room was very clean. We appreciated the amenities and the location was great. The flooring is damaged and needs repair. The bed was ok but could use a new mattress. It’s definitely old. No elevator so if you have mobility issues this is not a good place to stay.

Room was AMAZING!! it's on main street so it was kind of loud early in the morning. As far as inside the residence, it was awesome and I would go again in a heartbeat!! Loud in morning from the street outside.

Walkable in FQ Lack of early check in . Lack of baggage drop off. Lack of information on attractions/ things to do/ places to dine. Low water pressure in shower. Lack of information on basics: where to dispose of garbage and wet/ used towels. All this information should be provided up front and center. Dusty items in the bedroom (see previous review for 02/11/26 added night stay). Lack of consistent quiet time. Lack of an actual kitchenette!!!

All this : file under things I did not like! At initial booking for stay 02/12/26 ; I added 02/11/26 and saw I being charged a cleaning fee for that one day stay for the same apartment that I’m booked for 02/12/26-02/18/26. I requested that the cleaning fee be rescinded since I’m in the same apartment from the next 6 days. Well, Booking and the property refused to address my request period. The property had someone come in to “ spruce up” the apartment; Like really?! On arrival: *the front door screen was broken. I was told it can’t be fixed & I insisted that something must be done immediately to correct it. It was fixed only to occur the next day; and the repair man fixed it. *Dust on decorative pieces in the king bedroom room. Ugh! * Left the property on Thursday 02/12/26 I locked the front door. On return to the apartment the door was not locked! A major safety concern for me. **All of the above mentioned. *No early check in or baggage drop off. *Quiet hours are not observed consistently. *No information offered up front about simple things: where to dispose of trash. No maps or tourist attractions information available. *Seriously low water pressure in the shower * The space is too tight. Unable to open a suitcase in room

Not good for a family. People smoking weed in the lobby. No mention of 3 stories of stairs to reach your room. Parking was the absolute worst. Definitely don’t stay in the French quarter if you can help it

The sofa was broken in the front so we kept sliding down onto the floor, one of the beds was wore out or broken and we kept rolling to the middle of the bed, there is no heat and it was freezing this weekend, the air cooler/dryer in a bedroom smelt like someone urinated in it when I turned it on. Other than that it was ok

Information on hotels.com could've been presented better. There's parking, but you have to pay during certain hours and it's first come first serve. There's luggage service at 3rd party luggage hold centers--not on the property. Checkin on hotels.com is at 3pm, host says it's 4pm in a separate message. Hotels.com says $70 is collected at checkin, hosts says it's already taken care of. The place was very cute. There was something wrong with the electricity in one of the rooms, so the kids ended up just sleeping on the pullout couch (which had a lot of crumbs) b/c the lights kept twitching. Overall, it was a nice stay--just some minor hiccups. Location was great. Felt pretty safe. Host responded quickly to any issues.
