Comfort Inn JFK Airport

All was good

The hotel was fair and provided the basic necessities, though it was not particularly fancy and is located in a somewhat run-down area. The shuttle service was reliable andon time, and the staff were friendly, accommodating, and helpful throughout the stay.

Room was clean, breakfast decent. Shuttle to JFK is only once an hour, something to keep in mind. Restaurant was out of items on the menu. Room on the first floor is noisy.

Had to stay here for one night after a cancelled flight, paid for out of my own pocket! Absolutely horrible. The A/C did not work. Even after calling and being “serviced” the room was hot, humid and muggy all night. Called to ask for a fan and were told they didn’t have any. Pillows (if you want to call them that) were as flat as the blankets, if not more. Asked for extra and they said they would bring some right up. Hours later, no pillows. Called again and were told they were out of pillows.

Located in an industrial area. Appears rather run down and the sound insulation towards other rooms/hallway and outside, is very poor. Staff appears non-motivated and not especially willing to go the extra mile re customer service. Other options yield significantly better value for money.

It's hard to find a parking spot on the street. There is no parking lot or garage.

The bathroom at Comfort Inn appeared to be recently renovated, was nice. No complaints about the mattress either, comfortable. I actually liked the pillows, not so overwhelming large or plump like or so many other places. Continental breakfast was very good and well attended by staff. All staff were kind, no complaints at all, would book with them again in a heartbeat.

The area is a little sketchy but it’s super close to JFK airport and they have and they have an airport shuttle. The staff was great and helpful. It was clean. The room we had was extremely small not sure if all the rooms are like that.

Room itself was clean and comfortable. However the parking and the fact that the hotel is in the center of sanitation dept was horrible. If you are using shuttle to and from airport. Then it okay.

The staff was really great. The location is very convenient and the bar was nice but after that is goes south. Planes fly right over and it literally iis across the street from a construction/rock business. I’m sorry but even though you are in New York the cost is questionable.

Was a good place and quick access to jfk. Breakfast was good too. Rooms are smaller though and tight.
