Room was nice, clean, good bath products provided. Airport shuttle service is a great option, driver was kind and helpful. Parking situation is a bit cumbersome. The huge AC unit and ductwork awkwardly sprawled through the lobby is a problem. My check in process was horrible due to understaffing. Took an hour in line for a simple check in.

I arrived at the hotel and they were about 20 people ahead of me still waiting to check in because they're having issues with their system. Took me over an hour to finally get checked into a room. In addition the lobby air conditioning was not working so it was very warm. When I finally got to my room the air conditioning thermostat was not working so if you tried to turn the air conditioning above 67° in the heat came on. The air conditioning is very loud. I would not recommend this hotel

Stayed for only 4 hours due to layover!! Hotel was great!
-
this fit the bill clean room. nice towels there was a restaurant, but it was very basic and there isn't much to choose from from the quick market downstairs but for a overnight stay before an early morning flight it was great the shuttle in the morning with on time 5 AM

Good
-
The property is clean and close to the airport but there isn’t much in the area
-
My room was old, sticky floors BUT clean sheets and a comfortable bed.
-
It was good
-
Toilet didn't work, Lobby is under renovation and airport shuttle was weird - they drop you off near the air train but do not explain that is what they are doing, so it looks like you were just dumped at a hertz rental
-
No free breakfast and what was offered was over priced.

The rooms were fine. The beds comfortable. But the air conditioning was not working in the lobby. The large equipment brought in to compensate did not add to the uninviting atmosphere. It was still there when we came back at the end of our vacation. We had thought breakfast was included. It was not. The only food available was at a little "café" in the lobby. It was overpriced and lacking in appeal. We arrived tired and hungry, part of our party had traveled directly from Japan. We used "Grub Hub to get a meal but bought a salad at the café. It was expensive and consisted of only cut up lettuce.

IT IS A NICE HOTEL
-
easy transport to airport
-
Overall the room was decent for a solo traveler
-
The staff there were super helpful, friendly and amazing. The room was clean and gave us the room we needed to decompress after a long day of travel complications from a canceled flight. Wish I would have saw them sooner as we spent our first night after the cancellation elsewhere.

The hotel is undergoing some renovation, but the staff was friendly and helpful and it was great to have a restaurant right there.

Good stay
-
love that there are proper water fountain/ water bottle refilling on every floor.

I waited for 45 minutes for the Airport shuttle. Then the person at the desk told me that there were two shuttles going. That made it even worse. I was also told that the shuttle was dropping off people. When the shuttle finally arrived, it was literally five minute drive to the hotel. And then the next day there was no dropping off of guest anywhere but at Federal Circle (again five minutes away). So I was lied to. Simple as that. The driver simply did not drive the route. There is NO excuse for this. And no excuse for the desk people to lie about it. I doubt very seriously that I will ever stay at Hilton Garden Inn Queens/JFK.
