Clean room, close to the airport. All it needs to have

Ana at the front desk was lovely--very nice and helpful. The shuttle service is awful. The app they use doesn't work; it showed our driver 3 minutes away for 30 minutes. I called three times, which didn't help at all. A different shuttle driver came around and he gave us a ride.

Liked nothing about the property. Took 30 minutes to park on the street and another 30minutes to check in the line was down the street. The hotel is too expensive for the lack of parking and poor service
-
Stayed here during a layover at JFK airport. The proximity to the airport, the shuttle service, and the staff were wonderful.
-
It is set up for travelers we only stayed for 8 hours but the shuttle was on time and the room was clean and fine
-
Clean room, staff, location. I’ll stay here next time.

The Hotel was very well kept. The breakfast was great with just enough variety. All staff were very warm and easy to talk to. Would definitely stay here again.

Good breakfest, clean room, close to airport and free shuttle to JFK

The second room had a leaking air conditioner, so there was a large industrial fan trying to dry the carpet. Avoid this hotel.

I had prepaid for our one night stay. When I checked in, they told me I needed to provide a credit card for "incidentals." When I checked out, I saw they had charged me the one night stay a second time. I reviewed this with their employee who was checking people out...and she agreed and said "We will take care of this error." A couple of days later I saw the charge was still on my credit card. I called again, and was told to send an email to the manager??? I sent the email along with all of the documentation. A couple of days later there was no response, so I called again. And, of course, I was told it would be taken care of. Finally, almost a week later, I had my credit card company dispute the second charge...maybe, at long last, that action will get their attention. Very disappointing for a Marriott Hotel!

It was a very short stay before going back to JFK. Unfortunately their wifi was down and it took a while to check in.

The front staff were very helpful. We were stranded in NY due to JFK closures. The room was clean but old. The mattresses need some repair and the door to the closet did not open; seized on the rails.
-
Great hotel to spend a night between flights. Terri from front desk is amazing.
-
Getting the shuttle from Hotel was way. Getting shuttle from JFK 👎
-
The property is run down, in a bad neighborhood and quite frankly dirty
-
Bathroom door was hard to open/close. Room cleaning was ok but they missed to empty trash bins. The safe was not working and the conditioner was empty and never refilled. On a positive side - good shower .

10/10
-
Bad policy unwillingness to help customers but still charging customers when in need!

So then I had to stand in line again and the woman who was to wait on me, merely looked at me. I had to figure out I should step forward, as her personality seems to be shy and awkward to speak. The lady at the cafe in the evening spoke very softly with an accent that I had no idea what she was saying so I didn't order. Then in the morning, the shuttle driver was a smart ass when answering my question if the ride was free, hey it's NYC, who knows. He replied that it was $100, presumable as a joke or sarcasm, but with out a smile, correction, or context, it was an odd moment. Then as I supervised him putting my luggage in the back, he told me to go in the bus. But only two weeks ago, an Uber driver left one of my suitcases at the pick up area, thus leaving it as the airport, and then a few months ago, my backpack never made it to my destination from an Uber guy too, resulting in $7,000 in losses. When I told the driver this was why I was waiting to be sure my luggage made it into the bus, he replied, "So you want me to leave your bag on the street?" He was odd, and strange energy, so I pulled my luggage off the bus and opted to pay for a cab in order to get away from him. Although the room was good for a night, I would not return.

What is also amazing is that all the drivers were playing religious music, which is surely different. This we surely appreciate it
