Great one night stay. Very friendly front desk. Room & bathroom were squeaky clean. Comfortable beds. Nice TV. Surprisingly little street noise! Short ride to Yankee Stadium. Can’t think of one negative thing to say, I’d definitely recommend this place.

The hotel rooms were clean and suited my needs. The staff was friendly and always helpful. The location was convenient to walk to NY Presbyterian Hospital.

It was closest to where I needed to go, staff was so helpful, only thing, they didn't have a Laundromat, ice machine, room refrigerators or microwave. Other than that, it was perfect

Clean rooms, friendly staff. All that I hoped for on a one night stay in Manhattan. Great subway accessibility. Would definitely stay again!

This is the first time the Edge Hotel has appeared during one of my searches. Due to high cost of hotels in NY my sister and I usually share a room. We were able to get separate rooms at a reasonable rate. The room was small but clean and bright with a nice size window. The bathroom was excellent, and showers were amazing especially with the bamboo lemongrass products. The amenities were minimal but stores and restaurants nearby. Good location and very close to public transportation. Hail up to the nice staff!

Visiting the city with a friend for a play and concert and wanting to stay away from the busiest parts of the city, we chose to stay a little further out but wanted easy access to different parts of the city. The Edge Hotel in Washington Heights had great rates and reviews so we booked it. As mentioned in most reviews, it's very convenient to the subway. Our room was clean and we had plenty of towels and toiletries. (The towels were super soft!) We were in 1101 and had a beautiful view of the city skyline. It was particularly pretty at night. The guys at the front desk were very kind and accommodating. There is a Starbucks one block up on the corner opposite the subway entrance and next to it, a fabulous bagel shop. Our trip was delayed for 2 days due to bad weather so unfortunately we didn't get to try the two local restaurants that had been recommended, Malecon and Saggio. I plan to return soon with my husband and we will definately be considering this location.

Staff is very accommodating.

Need to post operating directions -- fan blew all night -- very uncomfortable for me

Our room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a quick overnight stay. The only suggestions we have are to add the ability to stream services like Netflix or other apps on the TV and to provide more than one bottle of body wash, as the small tube wasn’t enough for two adults.

The Edge is a great hotel. Very clean, great friendly staff and convenient location. While the room was small because it is New York City, there was a great use of space and had all you needed in the room including a Kureig coffee maker. The fitness center and lounge in the lower level were great as well. Definitely recommend!
