Radio Hotel

We liked the location and the area is very safe since it’s in the residential community. It was quick to get to the subway. We didn’t like the amenities fee and the forced drink tickets. The AC works well. It was clean and modern and affordable.

Affordable option near a subway in Manhattan. It is clean for the most part but the rooms have dark decor which shows every particle of dust. The cleaning staff was good. The hotel does charge an “amenity fee” so you have to buy beverages, weird policy to force you to buy things. No breakfast onsite Sunday to Wednesday. It was an average hotel, not terrible not amazing, but conveniently located and affordable.

Don't let the pictures fool you. The hotel is in a sketchy part of town. The hotel room needs MAJOR updates. The floor was concrete and the bed was hard as a rock.

Location is very close to the subway and the room was lovely. Had a great stay.

Clean, friendly staff, close to public transportation The nightlife in the area was thumping a little loud for me. The next morning revealed a ton of paraphernalia from apparent drug and needle usage on the ground outside of the hotel.

The place is so good, spacious and have value for money. The clean room is so good

Passable

The room & lobby were clean, but it’s an expensive place to stay, with few amenities. The real problem was entering or leaving the hotel because there was literally a drug addict shooting up by the door when we arrived and people would yell at us when we moved our car on the street nearby. It should absolutely cost less & we won’t be returning

Clean rooms, drink vouchers can be used for coffee and snacks, the coffee and expresso wasn't good though. Very loud events in courtyard until 12am. Music was too loud to sleep.

Our bathroom door in room 303 did not stay closed

Yes, this is a little out of the way but you can’t beat the price. The room was small but very clean. I did find the room too hot without the window cracked open a bit. Near the 1 and A trains. Since the A is a super express you can get midtown pretty quickly. Staff was fantastic.

Nice staffs with great customer service but no microwave in case you have a baby to warm baby food and noisy music coming from other rooms

Shower did not drain properly and leaked all over the floor into the bedroom, thankfully everything is concrete so no mildew. Sink set up strangely such that you cannot brush your teeth or wash your face without getting water all over the floor. Friendly staff. Great pillows.

It was cute and clean There was a vibrating noise, like a tuning fork sound that went on intermittently the entire night. The hotel acted like they didn’t know what caused it and told me to let them know next time so they can observe it. There won’t be a next time, but the last thing I wanted to do when I got into my bed at 1am was call some hotel staff to come to my room to assess the noise.
