Perfect stay

Very disappointing stay. Made to wait an hour for room check-in, despite a guaranteed room by 3 PM. Hotel is cutting amenities out of the room (no coffee, toothbrush, etc). Staff is barebones. Lobby is non-existent. Whole hotel feels like a gym - very soulless. Very overrated hotel, will not stay at again. Should not be 5-star, many better options in NYC.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in!
-
Outstanding in every way. Clean, efficient, well staffed, great food, great sleep. Excellence in every way.
-
Beautiful hotel near the 7 train.

Think of everything you might need … it has it all top-notch the only three star it could possibly have is food options on menu not always available at restaurants.

Great stay! Would go again

I really like the gym and spa facilities. The room service menu is quite limited and leans heavily towards healthier options, so it depends on what you’re looking for. The main area that could be improved is the customer service. In my experience, the level of attentiveness and attention to detail you would expect from a luxury hotel is not always consistent here. Having stayed at Four Seasons properties, there is a noticeable difference in the level of service and personal attention. Unfortunately, this became particularly apparent after I attended a concert during my stay. I had sustained a serious leg injury the previous year and after the concert I was in significant pain and temporarily unable to walk. I was disappointed by the lack of empathy or concern shown by the staff. Rather than feeling supported as a guest who was clearly struggling with her mobility, I felt as though the priority was simply for me to leave the hotel. I found that quite upsetting and it significantly affected my overall impression of the service. The facilities are very good, but at this level of hotel, genuine care, empathy and attention to guests should be just as important.

Thank you

The only thing I didn’t like was the price tag. Was it besito and clean and the stay itself great? Yes. Room was everything I could ask for, location was great, staff was so helpful and kind. I just dunno if it’d worth over 1k a night.

Best hotel I have stayed at in New York from the staff to the gym to the small details they really go above and beyond. It’s pricy but you really are getting a luxury modern experience.

My sister and I absolutely loved our stay at Equinox Hotel New York. The location was superb, the hospitality was exceptional, and the amenities were everything we could ask for. It truly is the perfect hotel for anyone who loves fitness, wellness, and a little luxury. The room was beautifully designed and incredibly comfortable. We especially loved the spacious bathroom, the high-tech toilet, the thoughtful amenities, and the exceptionally comfortable bed. The sleep system helped us rest so well after long days exploring the city. The minibar was honestly the minibar of my dreams! Stocked with recovery and wellness essentials and practically everything a fitness lover could wish for. The gym was incredible, and the Equinox Club itself was such a beautiful experience. The butlers and hotel staff were warm, friendly, and very accommodating throughout our stay. Staying at Equinox Hotel was one of the highlights of our New York trip, and I truly think everyone should experience it for themselves. We would definitely come back!
