Holiday Inn Express New York - Manhattan West Side by IHG

Great service clean place

Great location which is 3 blocks from Times Square. The building is hard to find with scaffold and no signage out front. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was okay but room is small with very little seating to cater full hotel.

May be due to lot of people at the property around 4th July weekend cause this okay experience to us, only one lift was working, and we were waiting at least 5-10 minutes to get up or down, we shifted to 2 rooms where Air Conditioning was not working when heatwave was at peak and third room was having good Air Conditioning. You can imagine how these things can ruin the experience of staying at this property the only good thing was the staff at the hotel , they are super helpful.

There were flies and just dirt everywhere, hallways, elevators, the "breakfast" section. The rooms are also not well maintained. Beds are comfortable. I understand it was crowded due to the 4th of July and world cup but that is no excuse to just have the whole hotel be dirty. The front desk staff during the day was extremely aloof. Also not the hotel fault but it is very uncomfortable to have people smoking pot right on the entrance of the hotel 24/7. Overall won't stay there ever again.

The only 3 things that were good about the property was the fact it was close to the fun stuff to do, the air conditioning in the room only and the guy who checked me in.

The staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming. There was a large amount of garbage piled up beside the entrance, and we were shocked to see rats running around in front of the main door. This created a very unpleasant and unsanitary first impression.

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. The rooms were very small, and the bathrooms were so cramped that it was difficult for even one person to use them comfortably. The complimentary breakfast was mediocre at best and tasted like the food had been sitting out for quite a while. The breakfast area was extremely crowded, making it hard to find a place to sit, and the lobby was noticeably dirty throughout our stay. Overall, the hotel did not meet our expectations, and I would likely choose a different place to stay next time.

We had a two night stay while in Manhattan. We were seeking reasonably priced accommodation and our stay turned out perfect. Rooms were clean and amenities were good. Off-site parking was just a couple blocks away. The location is easy to get in and out of. It's nothing fancy but our needs and I would stay again.

Had to climb 9 floors Room so small the chair can’t pull out from the desk without hitting the bed

The airco smelt very bad. Very old rooms but location is good and I am retuning to New York in 14 days but will not stay at this hotel due to the above. Location was good

Good staff, feels like they overbooked for Father’s Day weekend

Location was good The hotel room space is very small not recommendable for family of 3 or 4 woth children as no space to keeo luggage .

It was hectic due to construction but the room was clean and updated. The shower was so nice too. The breakfast was crowded and overwhelming

You only could look at a brick wall and the view is not appealing at all. They need more enhanced views

I stayed there for a trip with my man and his brothers and it was super nice there. Super clean and complimentary breakfast was amazing. Will be staying here again in the future.

Staff is nice!

Location Couldn’t tell we were at the right location with all the scaffolding. Paid $600 for one night’s stay for a very small room that the three of us had to take turns getting to the bed. The air conditioner didn’t go past 72 degrees so we all had a bad nights sleep.
