Reviews

The restroom was clogging, and despite telling them about packing breakfast as we were checking out early, no one
-
The hotel was close to the play so it was very convenient. A lot of places to grab a quick bite nearby. It’s about a 20 min walk to Times Square not bad.

Close to time square

It was great, do not pay for parking on Expedia, park at the GMC lot for $70 overnight

It was under construction. They were slammed by people wanting to check in but they were not able to accommodate everyone and people were in the lobby - the lady at the front was VERY cool and as helpful as possible - young, glasses and had an accent - wish I remembered her name as she was the best employee I came in contact with. The room itself had outlets that did not work, so I had to unplug the lamp and clock to plug in my phone and computer. The biggest issue was the cleaning crew threw out my receipts when they came into my room! They were on the dresser and although they may have been crumpled from being in my pocket - they should not have thrown them out! I complained and they said they would have someone call me - still waiting. The next morning, I heard my door bang and they yelled housekeeping. I was I was good, but then they barged in anyway. Turns out they did not speak any English as when I walked around the corner they backed away but I took the time to ask them about the receipts and they did not understand. Working on my expense report right now - having to pull things from my credit card. Really really miffed that they tossed my receipts.

The hotel was dirty, with stained carpets that clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. The breakfast area was overcrowded, and there wasn’t even a place to sit and eat. The bed was also a serious safety concern. It had a very sharp metal edge that injured my son as he was getting out of bed. This should never happen in a family-friendly hotel. On top of that, the air conditioning was extremely noisy, making it almost impossible to get a good night’s sleep. Overall, this hotel did not meet my expectations in any way. I chose it because I trusted the Holiday Inn brand based on previous positive experiences, but this stay was unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made to its cleanliness, maintenance, and guest comfort.

Ok location. The elevator situation was not good at peak hours. They are slow and there are lines to get on them. Breakfast was ok, but very crowded.

- Breakfast is okayish with regular continental kind. - There has been front construction. - Rooms are very small (guess it’s New York). - Room carpets are quite old and kind of some smell in the room. We had two rooms, one no smell, but other was we can feel dirty carpet and wired smell. - Air conditioning is okay and there is small opening in the window for fresh air. - Target is walkable two blocks away

We booked a room with two queens but I hey only had one available on the first floor surrounded by construction so we were offered a room with a king and a pull out bed on a different floor. The pull out couch physically could not be opened without rearranging the furniture and the sheets were stained. We called down for fresh bedding but had alto call again for pillows. Would not recommend.

Needed to book just for an overnight stay. Upon checking in nobody was at desk so we had to wait… was told the person ran out to get food. The lobby did not smell the greatest and the room was just okay, The bed seemed clean which was important, but the rug and walls were dirty. I definitely would not stay there again.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, clean room and very good location. I really enjoyed my stay.

Breakfast was dreadful. Felt like a bun fight in a youth hostel. Food wasn’t great and juice tasted gross. Otherwise great location and clean. Room was very small for 4 people but we coped! Perfect position

Very convenient and close to metro stations, the hotel is not bad. However, asking to extend a day or two in the hotel only gives inconvenience to guests because they are to be booked “online” and they could definitely improve upon that by actually giving us options onsite.

⭐️ 1 STAR – BE VERY CAREFUL WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD I strongly recommend that travelers think twice before staying at this hotel. I had already paid for my reservation through Expedia. At check-in, the hotel asked for my credit card for a security deposit/incidental authorization, which I understood would be released after check-out. Instead, my credit card was actually charged. After I contacted Expedia and the hotel, I was told that the refund would be processed. Expedia even confirmed in writing that the hotel’s front office supervisor would process the refund and that I should receive the money within 3–7 business days. More than 15 days later, I still have not received my money. I provided the requested bank/credit card documentation to Expedia, and I have continued to cooperate with every request. I was even asked for a separate hotel receipt that was never provided to me. The most frustrating part is that I have documentation showing the charge, documentation showing that the reservation was already paid through Expedia, and written communication confirming that a refund was supposed to be processed. This is not about a small inconvenience. This is about taking money from a customer’s credit card and then making the customer spend weeks trying to get it back. If you are staying here, PLEASE check your credit card statement carefully after checkout and make sure that any security deposit or incidental charge is actually released. I hope the hotel finally does

The whole experience at your hotel was totally awful. Your supervisor or he calls himself. The manager was totally rude. There was no help with our baggage or anything else. There were carts that the cleaning people use that they went up and down the elevator with with customers in the elevator. They left cleaning supplies, carts and other things just laying around in the hallway. Broom sticking out of trash cans where someone could have gotten her. The bedroom was so small it was insane. There were three of us and there was no room to even walk around. There were no bags in the trash cans. The bathroom the tub had scratches and scuff marks or something all in it which was insane. It was probably the worst hotel I think I've ever stayed in. And one of the most expensive ones at that. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. And I would never stay in it again. When I went to check out the young lady at the desk was asleep. I had to knock on the counter to wake her up. And then all she did was Bob her head back and forth. The restaurant or if that's what you want to call. It never opened up on time. It was dark. There was supposed to be there at 6:30/7 on during the week and the room was dark. Nothing was made. Nothing was available. I had to go out with my family to eat. Whoever you got working there. I think you need to do a check. Because they're not doing their job at all.

I think the staff is doing the best they can with the amenities they have - the breakfast area is far too small for a hotel this large. It was jam packed every morning with slow coffee machines -- but it did the job. It was walking distance to Times Square and Broadway which was super helpful!
