Hotel Mulberry

Tv didn’t work. Several lights didn’t work, making the lighting dim in the room. The hot water was extremely hot and there wasn’t as much cold water.

For a reasonably priced hotel this was a very good experience. The room was clean and bathroom well stocked with towels and sundries. The staff was friendly. The location was good if you are mostly being in a down town location. The paint could use a bit of TLC. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

This room was quiet, comfortable and clean. It was located close to Little Italy which is what we were looking for as we came into town for the fest of San Gennaro. We would stay here again.

Hotel was in a good location and clean. Only issue was the air conditioning was absolutely freezing so the room was so cold and it couldn’t be switched off (there was a note saying not to press anything on the thermostat as it would get colder) we did have to report it as one night the room was freezing cold but even after it was sorted it was still really cold in there!

Nice place to stay. Close to little italy and in Chinatown. Very clean. Nice size room and it had a fridge and sink in it. Would recommend.

We (4 of us) stayed at the Mulberry for one night in early September. It was accessed easily from JFK via the AirTrain and the subway to Canal Street. The Hotel was a bit difficult to find, but we managed. It is located where Chinatown and Little Italy, in lower Manhattan, come together. There were many eating places nearby, the walks to Seaport, the Oculus, 911 Museum, Brooklyn Bridge, were all easy and flat. We chose this hotel because of this location. It was pricey on a Friday night when many events were happening in New York. The best part of staying at the Mulberry was the location across from a neighborhood park. We felt as if we were part of the neighborhood, and really enjoyed that experience. Overall, we all agreed that we would stay at the Mulberry Hotel again, to experience the uniqueness of location. The hotel itself was basic, with a minimalist lobby. Hope this review helps others to decide.

Very close to City Hall and Historic Seaport. The staff was very supportive, my TV was not set-up but it was ok, I was too busy outside my room to really watch any TV. Canal Street subway is about 7 minutes away and lots of local eateries on Mulberry.

Rooms were clean and a good size. Definitely a great spot for a NYC trip is you don't mind a walk through Chinatown to the subway station. Very close to Canal Street for those who are interested in that.

The rooms were clean, but a little dated it could use a fresh coat of paint. The fan in the bathroom was broke.

Everything was excellent . Great location , good beds , the lot of Chinese restaurants nearby . The hotel manager was kind and flexible with a special request we had . Thank you !

The staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. Fridge didn’t keep items cool (forgot to tell staff ~ room 802)

Staff were all friendly. We had a technical problem in our original room and the receptionist was helpful in transferring us to a new room. Very nicely done place inside and out. Comfy beds. Ideally we would not have had the technical plumbing issue. Our new room had a fridge-freezer which started to whirr loudly in the middle of the night, not ideal for sleeping. Expensive for just a hotel room.

Loved the hotel. Very convenient location in Chinatown, close to many sights but also in a "real" neighbourhood, with a lovely park next door. Excellent subway connections. The city view from the 8th floor was amazing. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great. Can highly recommend it.
