Good location & clean Terrible chemical smell in room that gave me headaches- asked to be moved because it was so bad, but front desk said the hotel was sold out and all rooms would smell like that from the cleaning products. I'm not especially sensitive to scents but it was unbearable

It is a good if you want simple, it is a bare bones hotel, previous amenities like vending machine and ice on upper floors no longer stocked for example. I know the area so the location was ok to me, but might be intimidating to others. The bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was okay. I knew this hotel when it was built. It is totally run down now. We had one king, a very small room with barely enough room for our luggage. I did peek in a double, and that seemed better. Also, these streets can flood in a lot of rain.

Location and staff They gave me a room in the basement and it was so old and not the cleanest. The room was very small. The AC has spiders crawling inside.

The staff was very helpful and welcoming, and the continental breakfast offered a good variety of options. Overall, the hotel appeared clean; however, there were a few issues with our room. The floors had deep scratches, we found someone else’s hair on the towels, and the curtains were broken and would not close completely. With better attention to these maintenance and housekeeping details, the stay would have been much more enjoyable.
