Hotel Le Bleu

Excellent renovations dont recently make the hotel a very lovely place.

Convenient location. Room was clean & modern. Staff were helpful. Free parking. However… the property does look sus (suspicious). It was giving motel than hotel from the outside. If you don’t care about aesthetics then book!

Parking was another plus. The hotel has free parking on-site, but there are only about 8–9 spaces, so parking is limited. My recommendation is to arrive right around check-in time if you want a good chance of getting one of those spaces, and once you park, leave your car there for your stay if possible. If you do have to move your car and there isn't a space when you return, you can usually find street parking about a block away. There is also a parking garage directly across the street for a fee. The room was very clean and updated. The bathroom had a nice spa-like feel, the king-size bed was comfortable, and the room was surprisingly quiet. We also had a nice balcony with views of downtown Brooklyn, which was a really nice bonus. Having a refrigerator in the room was another added convenience. The of the hotel could use an uplift. The lobby is small and the hotel is fairly standard in terms of amenities,

Convinced parking location

I love this place as one of my go-tos in b'klyn. I like the fact that there is a (teeny tiny) parking lot, and you can usually get a spot if you wait it out for a couple hours or come in early in the day. Off street parking isn't so bad, at all. There is a variety of metered, unmetered but time limited, and unlimited parking if you know where to look and are willing to walk a couple of blocks. No meters on holidays (like Labor Day, which is usually when I'm here). Everything is within walking distance, and the nearest subway stop is, at most, a 10 minute walk.

The industrial vibe, the simplicity of the design and the colours used (black frames and blinds), the style of the furniture. Excellent bed, very comfortable. Excellent bathroom with spectacularly nice toiletries Cleanliness on arrival, the floor hadn't been swept/cleaned properly. I found a child's tooth on the floor near the bed (which I hope had fallen out naturally!). The balcony was in a poor state of repair and not pleasant enough to want to spend time on it, especially given the curious ambient smell in the outside air, but I appreciated the extra sense of space it gave. This isn't really a negative, but the place was showing distinct decorative wear and tear. It didn't bother me.

amazing hotel would go back

Everything was good it was close to the Brooklyn Museum.

The room was big and the area is calm. There is no amenities and the price I paid was way to expensive to not have any. The room had a funky smell.

Excellent stay as always. Staff is always incredible.
