This hotel is located on the lower east side very near Little Italy and Chinatown. The room was maintained to a very high standard. The cleanliness of the room could not be faulted. The room did not provide coffee although this was available on the ground floor daily. There was also an excellent coffee and pastry vendor on the premises. Our room had a view right up to Mid-town although only the tops of the skyscrapers were visable. Travel too and from other parts of New York was completed via, bus, train and cab. In peak time the cab was still the best option. As with most hotels in New York square footage in the room was at a premium. There was nowhere to lay down and open our medium suitcases other than on the bed. Less than a metre from the bed to the wall on all sides. The room facilities were small but very useable. The bath sink was in the entry area of the room and had to be taken into account when entering or exiting the room. The facilities were very funky though.

They over charged me for fees & different charges

Very close to canal street and little italy. Loved our stay and our room!

Travelers beware! We have had to dispute charges on our credit card from this hotel over a “smoking” fee of almost $600 (!!!) that was added to our bill. We are a non smoking family. My 11 year old was even staying in the room with us! When I tried to call multiple times to speak to a manager to find out more information, I was repeatedly put through only to the front desk receptionist. I was told there was a sensor that detected smoke during our stay so a charge is automatically added to the room. My information was passed along and someone would be in touch with me. I left multiple messages to speak to a manager and no one ever called me back. The poor operator even ultimately gave me an email address that I could try. I emailed and still never heard back from anyone and it has been 3 weeks since our stay. I have never had this happen to me in all my years of travel and I am shocked and appalled by the lack of customer service. Now I’m dealing with this through my credit card company. I will never stay here again.

The location was amazing, so walkable and able to get to Brooklyn quickly. The food credit was a great touch and there were so many options in the hotel for us to use. The room had trouble cooling down, it would be very hot and humid then the A/C would kick in but it was not consistent which made the room a bit uncomfy

The staff are very kind and friendly. They assist you quickly and will answer all your questions. The hotel is well-maintained. The lobby area can be loud since there are bars, lounges, and nightlife nearby. If your room is on the lower floor, you'll hear the music and floors vibrate.

Very good location, pretty and clean.

We had a great stay, the staff are lovely and so helpful. Location is good, and well connected. We had the basic room and it was small, but fine for two of us for 3 days. We would recommend!

The room was a decent size for New York. The stained glass was a cute feature. The room didnt have the best view.

We really enjoyed our bunk bed rooms!! The beds were cozy and the room felt spacious for 4 people especially in the city. This was a nice home base, within walking distance of so much. Front desk staff was so friendly and helpful and the cafe and bar in the lobby were so convenient.

:( avoid at all costs! This hotel operates a blatant financial scam. After checking out, they slapped an unjustified 500 dollar smoking fee onto my bill, claiming an automated sensor went off. I do not smoke, and the only thing in that room producing vapor was the clothes steamer they actually provide in the room's closet. No staff ever came to inspect the room, no physical smell was verified, and no real evidence exists because no smoking ever happened. Do yourself a massive favor and book literally anywhere else unless you enjoy being randomly extorted.
