We had mold in the bathroom and I reached out privately to the hotel with no response. Additionally, they charged me for an early check in and then upon arrival we found out the room wasn’t ready. I expected to be refunded for the early check in fee since it wasn’t ready at the agreed timing, but they didn’t refund me or reach out. I’ve given them several days to respond to me privately before posting this review, and have received no communication from them. At check in I asked the man at the front desk for an emailed receipt and never received that either. I would personally not return.

We have 3 teenagers and a recently graduated senior. They loved the area and my daughter especially lived the quirky hotel.
-
Great place to stay. Easy access to the subway and walking distance to Chinatown and Little Italy.
-
When I checked in and asked about an upgrade to a "much larger" family room, which was pretty much the same size as the one I got, likely just a money grab. Upgrading to two separate room would have doubled the cost of the reservation. I will not go back.

Room was super cute but warning no elevator so your suitcase has to go up multiple flights. They do have a porter who will help carry your bag up.
-
Asked the staff to look into the air-conditioning and they didnt do anything to help. Additionally we put up a do not disturb sign but still received a knock on the door at 9am for room cleaning. Considering we were only staying 1 night this was neither needed or relevant. Wouldn't stay again

Hotel is clean and rooms are updated. Good location. The problem is that the hotel has no elevators and I was on the 4th floor. We had to carry up 8 large luggages three long stairs. Killer!

Amazing experience with my family. Stayed for three nights and have already booked to go back. Staff are friendly and the decor is fantastic.
-
Amazing hotel and staff. This is my go to for business and when I’m with my family. It rocks.
-
The hotel looks beautiful and clean. No elevator and small rooms.
-
Location and price No elevator
-
Expensive though. Had it been $200-300 less for a 2 night stay, it would have been great.
-
Great location and service. Small space, higher cost
-
Excellent location and cute building No lift so you have to be prepared to carry luggage.
-
Good state and good location Lift missing to take luggage upstairs
-
The building has a spirit of ''old, traditional New York''! The noise, not from the outside, but within the hotel. I could hear every step (''bumps'') from the corridor, and from the room above.
-
no elevator, cute hotel, large rooms that are great for a family or a group of people.
-
I arrived there and the front desk failed to tell me that the floor I was on had AC units that were not working! I got to the room and it was HOT. I called the

The pillows were lumpy, and one of the pillows I could actually count the lumps. Front desk said no additional pillows available. Bed was so hard and uncomfortable. Duvet was torn and insides were coming out of the corners. No water filling station. No phone.

I liked this place, it was simple and comfortable and clean and well located. My room was very small but comfortable for not being in the room very much. Also there is no elevator so be prepared to climb some stairs. Overall would recommend and stay at again.
