We loved our stay at the Sohotel. We stayed in a Deluxe King room, and found it to be comfortable and clean. The deluxe room had central AC, which was great for escaping the August heat. The hotel’s location is perfect, closely situated to Chinatown, little Italy, SoHo, and lots of great restaurants. There’s a convenient subway entrance right around the corner for getting around the city. Many of our most memorable meals and souvenirs were found within walking distance of the Sohotel, including trendy spots like L’Industrie and Leon’s Bagels. My critiques are minor - the room has a mini fridge but no microwave, which was fine for us as we ate our meals out. Also, the shower is oddly planned - there is only a small rubber seam that separates the shower floor and the bathroom floor, and there is no door or curtain on half of the shower, which meant water escaped out of the shower with every use. This wasn’t too terrible either, as our towels were replaced daily. I would absolutely stay at Sohotel again!

Great location, close to many restaurants and attractions
-
Hotel was super cute and staff was friendly and helpful. It is located in Chinatown so the area can be a little sketchy at night.
-
No lift or anyway but walk up the steps. So keep that in mind. Not a bad place but likely won’t be back

Love this hotel! No regrets! From the hotel you turn right it’s China town, you turn left it’s little Italy, a few blocks more and you are in SoHo. The staff are so nice and helpful. Beds are comfortable, lots of pillows, bathroom is spotless. They were generous with towels. Literally, they provided everything that we didn’t even have to ask for anything. Coffee & tea are provided in the lobby in the morning just to get you going. You can even ask them to keep your leftover food in their fridge. Our room was cool and quiet at night. Seriously, highly recommend this hotel.

This is really really nice hotel in a great location. Can't beat that combo in NYC.
-
Charming, clean and quiet hotel at the intersection of Little Italy and Chinatown. Great for a night or two but lacking in amenities (trade off for the price) so I wouldn’t recommend it for a longer stay. Be aware that there is no elevator.

Fantastic stay. Great hotel and great staff. Very cool.

Great stay!

Great location. Common areas are uniquely decorated for those that like to take pictures. Rooms are comfortable and my room had a heated bathroom floor! No elevator, but staff will carry bags to your room.

This cozy, little hotel offers clean, very tight rooms at a better price than other hotels in the neighborhood. The website reads that there is parking, but there is not. I will say the parking lot 4 blocks down the street is a good, safe lot for $55 per night.

Super comfortable pillows, filtered water on each floor Nothing

Very convenient great staff nice room and room was quiet Room was very small

It was a great location, hotel was fun and we had five people in one room comfortably. Nothing

Great experience !

The only drawback is that, because it is a historical landmark, it does not have an elevator. Other than that, I would still recommend this hotel. It is a five-minute walk from the Grand Stop Metro Station. It is centrally located in the heart of Chinatown.

The hotel is beautiful and well decorated. The bathroom was exceptional with heated floors. The convenient walkable location and room size were very much appreciated. The stairs were a bit ridiculous when the ice machine on the floor did not work or the vending machines only accepted cash. The walls are thin. Felt there was false advertisement regarding restaurants on site (research hotel on Google). We received recommendations to venues near by but no discount or conveniences. Parking was costly so ensure it is added to the budget - hotel only provides a $5 discounts.
