We loved this hotel. We visit New York City a lot, and this hotel was such a surprise! The location is excellent for subway stations and for walking. The staff is so welcoming and helpful and the amenities are great! We LOVED the rooftop deck as it is hip and cozy at the same time and has AMAZING views of the entire city! The lobby has a great meeting and workspace. Check out this hotel if you haven't been before!

Staying here was perfect for me and my partner. We planned on going all over New York City so the space was perfect for us. We brought two carry-ons and one checked bag and the space did not feel crowded whatsoever. If you can pay a little bit extra for a city view do it because the views were the best part of our stay (among other things). We ended up extending our trip to one more day and the staff were great at accommodating and making sure we wouldn’t have to switch rooms for the extra day. The rooms were cleaned every day. The only thing I would say that was a little bit inconvenient was the shower that would leak on to the floor of the toilet side. But it was very minimal leakage. Other than that, our stay was wonderful, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We met lots of people and the rooftop bar was wonderful. My partner and I will definitely be coming back here and will be recommending CitizenM to all of our friends. Thank you!

Good location. Clean. But had some small wood boring Beatles crawling on my bed. Killed like 4 of them.

Overall a great location, the rooftop bar was gorgeous with one of the best views I’ve seen of Manhattan.

Second time staying here. The locstion is good and the rooms are cleverly designed. Feel super comfortable for a solo traveller. Reception staff helpful. The property were having significant issues with the elevators, the cleaning services were reduced and the staff at the cafe were particularly unfriendly over the weekend.

The hotel was in a fantastic location, close to great areas and multiple subway stops. Check in and out was seamless. The room was very small, perhaps a little tight for two people but manageable with a comfortable bed and cute little shower. It was loud at night due to being directly on bowery, which is the only issue - but if you have earplugs and tire yourself out, it shouldn’t be an issue.

When I booked the room it looked spacious and cool. What I got was smaller than a dorm room. Very creative uses space but quite frankly just way too small. My closet is bigger than this room. Additionally, when I went to take a shower, there were black hairs all over the place. I’m a blonde that completely skieved me out. When I told the front desk, they told me that they would tell housekeeping there was no apology or regret for the experience that I had first time equals last time.

The property is so carefully designed to maximise space. For a solo traveller it was just perfect and enough room. Everything was clean and the room serviced daily. Really well setup for people managing jet lag. Great neighbourhood with so much to do! I’d rather have been staying here than in Times Square. Upper floor with good view. For two people it may be a little small.

Had a great stay here from Thursday to Sunday! Room was clean and tidy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Was pleasantly surprised by how central the hotel was to so many spots! Would absolutely stay here again.

I booked one night at CitizenM Bowery and it was perfect. The hotel is well located and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. My room was clean with a great view, and check-in/out was quick and super easy.
