Perfect hotel, my favourite in the world

We had an exceptional experience. This was our second booking, and we are already planning to visit a third time. The spa service was outstanding, as was the massage.

Beautiful hotel. Complimentary water and chocolate was sweet. However, as someone who’s sober, sober or not, it appeared as though there was about ten times more alcohol than anything. There should be an option when booking.

This hotel has a great history and has been restored in a manner that maintains it. Fantastic art and great architectural details everywhere. Room was nice, bathroom/shower was great. We enjoyed the bar and room service was quick. Small but functional gym was also appreciated. Neighborhood was grittier than Soho/TriBeca or Meatpacking (our usuals) but we enjoyed it. We’ll definitely go back.

A unique, eclectic, artistic, luxury hotel with recent renovations, which were well done. Very good restaurants and bars within the buiding. All 20+ hotel team members we dealt with over three days were top notch—making our visit very enjoyable.

Eclectic, cozy and whimsical decor made for a wonderful long weekend stay. The lobby bar not so much, but the Chelsea hotel cafe was superb. I would absolutely return to this central and fun gem of a hotel with a scandalous past!
