~ Had issue over Fourth of July weekend with AC on a day when it was 102 degrees outside. Manager Jessie immediately changed my room. ~ AC had not yet been turned on in the new room but remedied with a call to front desk. Was cooled to 74 degrees on my return an hour later ~The tub was slow to drain. Notified desk at check out. Betsy was very apologetic and sent a follow-up email addressing my concerns ~ One elevator was out so only one in operation. Never waited more than 2-3 minutes for the elevator even with it being down to one ~No microwave in my room even though it was advertised as having a fridge and microwave ~The AC was out in the lobby so it made sitting downstairs or in the dining area unbearable as the “feel like” temperature outside was 110 degrees on these days and they left the hotel front doors open for circulation. They did have fans blowing on the front desk Breakfast score ~ 6/10 Breakfast day 1 - Turkey sausage links, scrambled eggs, french toast sticks, watery oatmeal, bagels, cream cheese, blueberry muffins, toast, small apples, clementine oranges, 3 types of cereal Breakfast day 2 - Kielbasa sausage, roasted potatoes with green & red peppers, (NO eggs), watery oatmeal, bagels, cream cheese, blueberry, oatmeal & bran muffins, toast, small apples, clementine oranges, 3 types of cereal I chose to eat breakfast outside of the hotel each day. I have had better stays at this hotel. This one was subpar. I will be back though.

Very good hotel overall. The rooms were a little on the smaller side, but nicely arranged and appointed, and well-maintained. Staff was excellent, friendly, accommodating, and efficient. Hotel elevators also operated efficiently, important in a 20-story building. On the slightly negative side, lobby furniture was worn and really needed replacing, and breakfast experience was just okay, a bit crowded and congested. Hotel location is excellent, with lots of good sightseeing within walking distance.

Air conditioning was not work. They could’ve told us before we got there.

The staff all around was great. The first room they gave us on the 4th floor the a/c was not working correctly so they did move us to a room on the 12th floor. The room was clean. This would have been fine, but only one elevator was working and there was no a/c in the lobby or hallways. We had to wait up to 10 minutes or more just for an elevator to come. The included breakfast was mediocre at best. They ran out of certain items and did not replace them. The reason we stayed here was the location and that part was great. The management really needs to do a better job, as it is a great location. At this point I would not recommend it as a place to stay.

otherwise rest was fine.

Upon arrival, I noticed a slight leak under the bathroom sink that put some water on the floor. However, I called the front desk, and they had someone up to fix it within 20 minutes—fantastic, responsive service! Another plus for me was that the elevator key card system happened to be offline. While I know that's usually a "security" feature, it actually made it much more convenient for family and friends to visit my room without the extra hassle. I would definitely book this location again!

We didn't feel safe at all. Lost some cash money from our room as well. We have filed a complaint about the stolen items from our room but no action taken.

Clean

Location, morning breakfast included. Elevators, one was out of order a day or two during stay and the other one and both when working were very slow.
-
The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is also centrally located to all of the shopping in Chelsea
-
Location was good Soap bottle was empty, breakfast in paper plates and plastic utensil.
-
very nice staff

Buena servicio y limpieza, el edificio necesita mantenimiento.

The room was clean and hotel was immaculate. Breakfast had really good options. Great area and my only complaint was the elevators took for ever and due to my husband having a bad knee was a lil stressful.

I stay at Hampton Inn so I know what to expect they're all pretty much the same. I think this one off is value for your money but I could have probably scored another hotel in the same area for similar rate. The reason I have qualms about this one is that when we first checked in late and tired only one of two elevators was working and it was a busy night so that was awkward. And all fairness it got fixed the next day went out of order again briefly but was running for most of our stay. Another problem was for some strange reason on a Saturday night are hot water failed. I found that out about an hour before I had to go to a scheduled event when I tried to take a shower. Now again the staff was amazing and a young man came right up and somehow fixed it miraculously from the room instead of having to go into the mechanicals. So that was very encouraging. But why did it happen? No one seems to know and I didn't inquire further. So that could have been a real problem if I had discovered that closer to one I had to leave the hotel. Finally the first morning Saturday morning the breakfast was fair. Really fair. The potatoes were really strange like cold hard leftover French fries. However the breakfast was excellent the next day. The only reason I'm so picky is because I stayed a lot of Hampton Inns and let me tell you the breakfast is usually tremendous. I'm finally the staff was amazing. They were all great and I really think that if service and responsiveness is what you also w

This is hands down one of my favorite hotels - and as my premium status attests, I stay at a lot of hotels! The less than stellar rating for this place doesn't make sense because between the price, location, incredible staff, larger than typical NYC sized rooms, and solid breakfast... I can't I'm staying anywhere else on my next NYC visit. This hotel is clean, safe and most importantly QUIET. I did not hear my neighbors or the street at all! Highly, unreservedly recommend!

Although our rooms had adequate a/c, the lobby was usually very warm. Additionally for 2 of the 3 days we were there, only one elevator was working and it creaked! Also the a/c in our room was very loud. Staff was friendly and helpful

The place was dirty, I had a cockroach in my room. I also have a picture of it. The water and the shower was not hot at all. I’m very unhappy.
